Here are the specifics of each character's Pokémon and attacks (most attacks do damage even if it's not specifically designed for offense, such attacks are listed as "damaging"; attacks that don't do damage are listed as "nondamaging"):
The two characters listed below are original characters that are created specifically for this game.
Haruna: Minun's Helping Hand, Jumpluff's Bounce, Espeon's Psybeam
-Helping Hand: Ranged/Nondamaging/Support/Normal. Used on allies only. Temporarily boosts all stats of targeted ally except Health, and also temporarily boosts the targeted ally's ability circle.
-Bounce: Melee/Damaging/Attack/Flying. User bounces into air, hovers for a short time, then lands hard on target. May paralyze foe.
-Psybeam: Ranged/Damaging/Support/Psychic. Used to disorient enemies.
Junichi: Plusle's Helping Hand, Blaziken's Brick Break, Umbreon's Faint Attack
-Helping Hand: Ranged/Nondamaging/Support/Normal. Used on allies only. Temporarily boosts all stats of targeted ally except Health, and also temporarily boosts the targeted ally's ability circle.
-Brick Break: Melee/Damaging/Support/Fighting. Used to clear obstacles.
-Faint Attack: Melee homing/Damaging/Support/Dark. Used for getting past obstacles.
Here are the specifics of each character's Pokémon's abilities:
Haruna: Minun's Minus, Jumpluff's Chlorophyll, Espeon's Synchronize
-Minus: If the effect of the ability Plus is also in the ability circle, increases power of user's ranged attacks.
-Chlorophyll: Increases user's Speed in sunny or springtime conditions.
-Synchronize: If user becomes affected by a status condition, foe becomes affected by same status condition.
Junichi: Plusle's Plus, Blaziken's Blaze, Umbreon's Synchronize
-Plus: If the effect of the ability Minus is also in the ability circle, increases power of user's melee attacks.
-Blaze: Increases the strength of user's Fire-type moves in a pinch.
-Synchronize: If user becomes affected by a status condition, foe becomes affected by same status condition.
Here's the health, power, speed, defense, and jump rankings for each character assuming no upgrades (i.e. no Chaos Drives, Materia, or Tanks):
Haruna: Health 8, Power 2, Speed 6, Defense 4, Jump 8; Gets x1.5 Speed for Female
