Barrel Cannons
Barrel-shaped cannons floating in the air similar to those in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary (and in turn, are from the Donkey Kong Country series). Cannot be destroyed.
Normal Cannon: Indicated with an arrow, these are normal Barrel Cannons. When you're ready to exit one, simply press the action button.
Auto-Fire Cannon: Indicated with an explosion symbol, you're fired out of these Barrel Cannons shortly after entering them.
Magnet Cannon: Indicated with a magnetic wave symbol, you'll be pulled back into this Barrel Cannon unless you enter another one.
One-Use Cannon: Indicated with a red X, when you fire out of one of these Barrel Cannons, it explodes, preventing you from using it again.
Rotate Cannon: Indicated with a loop arrow, you can freely rotate this Cannon in any direction. Usually comes with a timer.
Steerable Cannon: Indicated with a control pad, you can move this Barrel Cannon in any direction. Usually comes with a timer.
Countdown Bombs
A floating bomb like those found in Mega Man 8. Cannot be destroyed by attacks. When the switch on top is pressed, bomb counts down to detonation.
Countdown Bomb [Red]: Upon detonating, the bomb creates a much larger explosion than usual. The explosion can also destroy any obstacles in range that only Selfdestruct or Explosion can.
Countdown Bomb [Orange]: The switch on top is also a spring that bounces you upward. The countdown still starts when the spring is pressed, so these also act as temporary springs.
Countdown Bomb [Yellow]: Upon detonating, a wave of laser shots shoot out of the explosion, so it's best you take cover after stepping on one. However, the shots can also damage or defeat enemies within the area.
Countdown Bomb [Green]: These also act as one-use switches. Upon detonating, something such as doors opening, laser walls dropping, enemies being destroyed, or other such affects will occur.
Countdown Bomb [Teal]: These come with an electric shield around them that turns on and off periodically, much like with various robotic foes. The shield will still function even after the switch is pressed.
Countdown Bomb [Blue]: Unlike other Countdown Bombs, the number on the side indicates how many times you can step on it. Each time you step off, the counter goes down by one. When the counter reads "1", after stepping off, the bomb goes off after a second.
Countdown Bomb [Indigo]: These are normal Countdown Bombs and the most common ones in the game. There's nothing special about them.
Countdown Bomb [Violet]: These act as moving platforms, either starting up when the switch is pressed or already in motion. Some bombs move in one direction once activated and the speeds of some bombs vary.
Blade Traps
Large flat obstacles borrowed from the Legend of Zelda series. These resemble those found in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Can only be destroyed by a strong attack, Selfdestruct, or Explosion.
Blade Trap [Green]: These Blade Traps either move when you come near them or move back and forth or in a circle automatically.
Blade Trap [Red]: These Blade Traps move faster than the green variants and are capable of moving through other Blade Traps.
Blade Trap [Blue]: These Blade Traps have the same properties as the red ones, but will move towards you rather than in a set direction.
Blade Trap [Yellow]: These Blade Traps have the same properties as blue variants, but are also electrically charged, paralyzing you if one touches you.
