As any action game needs and has, it’s characters! Well, Pokémon Peace Squad gives you a cast of possibly over 100! To get to know each of the characters, I’ve included some detailed data on each of them, from the noticeable features like hair and eyes to more detailed information such as age, height, weight, and even blood type! Also included are any game data about them and also Sonic Riders data!
IMPORTANT NOTE: STATISTICS THAT INCLUDE AGE, HEIGHT, WEIGHT, AND BLOOD TYPE ARE PURELY ESTIMATE. ALSO, THE MAJORITY OF INFORMATION OF THE CHARACTERS BELOW HAS BEEN GATHERED FROM SUCH WEBSITES AS BULBAGARDEN’S BULBAPEDIA, WIKIPEDIA, AND OTHERS. SOME OF THE CHARACTER QUOTES HAPPEN TO BE FROM THIS GAME ITSELF.
When it comes to playable characters, Pokémon Peace Squad happens to have literally several dozen of them! With so many characters to choose from, it may be hard to choose which one you should use the most. For easier reference, here are each of the playable characters! Note that for any major recurring characters, I only listed the first episode the person appeared in.

He specializes in Rock-type Pokémon. Brock is a Pokémon Breeder who is a close friend and traveling companion of Ash. He is an experienced cook and makes scrumptious food both for Pokémon and for humans. One of his best known character traits, however, is that he falls in love with every pretty woman he meets, particularly Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. Brock is considered the mature, wise and level-headed, and though he does not have all the text-book knowledge memorized that Max does, he is debatably the most intelligent character as well. He often acts as an older brother and caretaker to the other characters and a voice of reason in disputes. He usually places others before him and will help and support his friends even if it goes against his better judgement. While he is not shown to battle often, he can understand the situations and strategies in any Pokémon battle, and often explains them to the other characters. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Brock gets a call from Professor Oak telling him about what’s going on and that the squad could really use his help. He tells Ash, May, and Max (this is during the Battle Frontier saga) that he must go away for a while and heads off, promising to join back up with them later. She has a very strong relationship with Gloom, who saved her from a wild Grimer as a child. She is very sensitive when it comes to her perfume, perhaps because most of it is made from the essence of her best friend Gloom. Erika seems to be pleased with the fact that Brock is love stricken by her good looks, unlike most of the women that he tries to flirt with. Erika also enjoys telling her students and Grass Pokémon stories. In Pokémon Peace Squad, she also gets a call from Professor Oak asking her to join the squad. She met Ash when she "caught" him with her fishing line in a river between Pallet Town and Viridian City. She traveled around with Ash, Brock, and Tracey through the Kanto region, Orange Islands, and Johto region. Misty can be sweet and optimistic at times, but she is best known for how easily she can be angered or frustrated, and how loud and violent she can become in response. She is very extreme in most of her moods, and can switch between them quickly. Her goals are not as clear as those of the other people, since though her main interest is training Water-type Pokémon, there's many things she loves to do and she is very confident in her abilities in all aspects of life. Fishing is one of her hobbies, however, and she has a special lure, which she designed to look like herself and gave to Ash as a gift before parting. Misty used to hate Gyarados because of a traumatic experience as a child in which she was nearly eaten by one, but she later overcame her fears and now uses a Gyarados as one of her primary Pokémon. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Misty also gets a call from Professor Oak asking of her to join the squad. She is a young lady with psychic abilities, and thus trains Psychic-type Pokémon. Sabrina inherited her psychic power from her father, who had the ability to teleport from location to location. It manifested when she was young, and it was soon apparent that Sabrina's abilities far exceeded her father's. She was able to use psionics to do many things- teleportation, telepathy, psychokinesis, and transmutation. As her power increased, she grew more obsessed with developing it. She became less and less emotional, using her abilities for destructive purposes. This caused a deep psychological rift. The emotions she tried to shut off developed into a separate personality- a young girl who manifested as a puppet around Sabrina. Sabrina's mind was divided into the cold, callous woman with a thirst for power and the little girl who just wanted to have fun. Sabrina became the leader of the Saffron City Gym, and turned it into an institute where fellow psychics could develop their powers. Eventually, Ash challenged her a couple times and used a Haunter. Haunter playfully teased Sabrina. Haunter's antics delighted Sabrina so much, that she was no longer able to contain her emotions and started to laugh. Ritchie is often seen as a clone of Ash Ketchum, having four of the same Pokémon (Charmeleon, Butterfree, Pikachu, and Taillow) and many believe scenes with him demonstrate what the show would be like if Ash was perfect. Ritchie also loves to nickname his Pokémon, and always does. He marks his Poké Balls with stars on top so he can tell them apart from those of other trainers. This was useful when Jessie, James, and Meowth stole a bunch of Poké Balls, including his. He has a lack of popularity in the Pokémon fandom. Ritchie met Ash at Indigo Plateau and quickly befriended his fellow Pokémon League competitor. This led to problems later on, since the two were matched up to battle against each other. Ritchie won the match, since at the very end Ash's Charizard refused to fight what it considered a weaker opponent and took a nap on the battlefield instead. Ritchie showed up again when Ash and friends visited the Whirl Islands. He was searching for a mysterious Pokémon found there, which turned out to be a Lugia. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Ritchie joins up with the squad because he wants to help take down Team Rocket as well as the other teams, plus hope that Ash will remember him. Name: Eusine Debut: Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal Gender: Male Age: 26 Height: 6’3” Weight: 140.0 lbs Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Brown Blood Type: AB- Home: Celadon City Occupation: Researcher, Suicune Fanactic Alignment: Hero Description: Eusine is a researcher and expert in the Legendary Beasts. For years he has chased Suicune, the embodiment of the North Wind, but to no avail. He is apparently from Celadon City. He exhibits a near-religious fervor for Suicune, once challenging Ash for daring to say that he'd met the legendary beast. This is somewhat interesting compared to his later appearance, when he mentions Suicune only once, and then only in reference to the other beasts. He is apparently very close friends with Morty, who is also an expert on the Ecruteak legends. Morty acts as Eusine's voice of reason, trying to convince him to calm down and ease up, but to no avail. When Eusine leaves suddenly, Morty's lack of surprise indicates that this has happened before. Eusine also happens to have a deep rivalry for Luka, the seafarer from the Whirl Islands, who strives to find Lugia. There is a fanon theory that says that Minaki is his real name and he chose Eusine to reflect his reverence for Suicune, but there is no evidence for this. Another theory is that he and Luka may have hidden feelings for each other clouded by the competition between them. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Eusine has chased Suicune to a city, only for it to disappear once more. Finding out that the military group GUN has their eyes set on another legendary Pokémon, he decides to join the PPS and follow GUN in hopes of finding Suicune once more. Along the way, he runs into Luka again. Quote: “I’ve been on the sidelines long enough!” Anime Appearance: Episode 229, For Ho-oh the Bells Toll; Chronicles 1, Legend Of Thunder!

Name: Giovanni Debut: Pokémon Red/Blue Gender: Male Age: Unknown Height: 6’3” Weight: 165.0 lbs Hair: Brown Eyes: Red Blood Type: B- Home: Viridian City? Occupation: Team Rocket Leader, Gym Leader Alignment: Dark Description: Giovanni is the head of Team Rocket, and formerly served as the Gym Leader of Viridian City's Gym, known officially as the Viridian Gym. As a Gym Leader, he specialized in Ground-type Pokémon, but his master plan includes collecting rare Pokémon of all types. Very little is known about his past in any timeline; he is generally shrouded in mystery. However, certain things are known: His mother was the head of Team Rocket before him. While Giovanni very rarely takes the role of antagonist, his agents often have him in mind during missions due to the chance of power, be it through promotion or other means. This gave him a unique series of appearances, mainly during the Hoenn saga, where Meowth often saw how the Pokémon in each episode could be used to help Giovanni and win the trio promotions. These boss fantasies never show his actual personality and occasionally even show Giovanni in chibi form. The only time Giovanni has been seen in battle was in The Battle for the Badge. He used powerful Pokémon against Gary but later left the Gym to deal with an unexplained emergency, leaving Ash to battle Jessie. Giovanni is one of the two most prominent figures speculated to be Ash Ketchum's father, alongside Professor Oak. There is no evidence to support this, though Diamondshippers see Giovanni's avoidance of Ash mentioned above as suspicious. Giovanni apparently has a child who has red hair. Many people believe this refers to the red-haired Rival from Pokémon Gold and Silver and Pokémon Crystal, also known as Silver, who has some sort of vendetta against Team Rocket. Being the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni has foreseen a number of robots built by Team Rocket, both Pokémon-based autonomous robots and the large ones used by Jessie, James, and Meowth. He also has a number of bases and areas throughout the world, similar to those of Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily. They range from an underground base beneath Celadon’s Game Corner to a lab beneath the Viridian Gym, a base somewhere in Kanto, a former lab on New Island, a warehouse in the Sevii Islands, a complex hidden beneath Goldenrod City, a large metallic city known as Rocketopolis, an immense steel fortress, an enormous space rocket, an orbiting space station, a prison complex on an island in Johto, a huge armed airship known as the Rocket Cruiser, a large base in Antarctica, an underwater complex in the Whirl Islands, a base near Mahogany Town, a large air fleet known as the Rocket Armada, the Rocket Armada 2, and many more bases and complexes. It’s even speculated that the city in which the multiplayer Rocket Highway stage takes place in is a Grand Metropolis-looking Neo Rocketopolis due to the fact that all the vehicles, signs, and buildings have the Team Rocket symbol on them. Giovanni also serves as a Pokémon researcher at times. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Team Rocket launches an attack on Grand Metropolis in an attempt to steal the city’s energy supplies and also take over its radio towers. This plan was not approved by Giovanni and he decides to set his team straight. Quote: “You’re wasting my time!” Anime Appearance: Episode 15, Battle Aboard the St. Anne

He is a highly intelligent man who uses Fire-type Pokémon. Blaine ran the Cinnabar Island Gym until the island started to become crowded with tourists. Instead of serious challengers, the Cinnabar Island Pokémon Center started to fill up with freeloading vacationers. Fed up with this, Blaine closed the Gym and opened up a hotel near the island's volcanic hot springs, disguising himself with a wig and sunglasses. He also disguised his voice to be softer and lower pitched than normal. When Ash, Misty, and Brock met Blaine, he complained some then told them several riddles. Misty deciphered the riddles and eventually the trio found Blaine's hotel, and underneath the hotel in a volcanic cavern was the Cinnabar Island Gym. Blaine's title is "The Hotheaded Quiz Master." His strategy is to incinerate challengers with his rough and ready Fire-type Pokémon. Blaine was once lost in a treacherous, freezing mountain range. He was guided out of the mountains by a Moltres. Apparently, this is what inspired him to train Fire-type Pokémon. Blaine is a native of Cinnabar Island, and has lived there since before the Pokémon Lab was built. Blaine is apparently on good terms with Mr. Fuji. To reach Blaine, challengers have to answer a series of quiz questions about Pokémon. Ash wanted to help Lance in his mission, but Lance said it was too dangerous. Knocking out a Rocket and taking his clothes, he was able to infiltrate their base. Team Rocket was trying to investigate the properties of a Red Gyarados so that they could learn how to force Pokémon to evolve. Lance was able to destroy Team Rocket's machine and blow up their laboratory. Ash was able to calm the Red Gyarados at first, but it continued to go berserk. Finally, Lance caught it to keep it from destroying Mahogany Town. Lance later appeared again in Hoenn, where he infiltrated Team Magma and helped stop the rampage of Kyogre and Groudon. He raises dragon Pokémon, which are both hard to catch and raise, but he prefers the superiority of Dragon-type Pokémon, believing them to be virtually indestructible. Also known as a cool and heroic trainer, Lance has a large fan-following. Lance also seems to have a liking for capes, as he is often seen buying identical capes at the Celadon Dept. Store. Lance's grandfather was the elder of a famous clan of Dragon masters. Clair is his cousin, and his hometown is Blackthorn City. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Lance is actually one of the founders of the squad and helped recruit a number of the Trainers into the group. An elder Pokémon trainer, Pryce, the winter trainer, has seen and suffered much in his lifetime. May and her friends first met Drew while she was practicing with her Beautifly on the beach near Slateport City. Like Ash’s main rival, Gary, Drew is portrayed as being confident, critical, and popular among his supporters, though generally not as overtly insulting as Gary initially was. However, also like Gary, he is not a villain by any means, despite how his comments and attitude may have angered May and her friends. His first match against May pitted her Beautifly against his Roselia, only to have it end when Team Rocket interfered. Drew’s skills have been a continuing inspiration for May to better herself as a coordinator, so much so that seeing a different Roselia will remind May of her rivalry. Notably, Drew placed 2nd at the Hoenn Grand Festival in beating out May in the semi-finals with his Roselia and newly-captured Flygon and losing to Robert in the finals. He has gone on to participate in Pokémon Contests in Kanto. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Drew, Harley, and Robert all meet in Celadon City, explaining to each other about Butch and Cassidy attacking each of them and stealing two of their Pokémon; Flygon and Absol from Drew, Ariados and Octillery from Harley, and an Ampharos and Vileplume from Robert. He is also the husband of Caroline. Very early in his Hoenn journey, Ash Ketchum arrived with May in Petalburg City in the hope of getting his first gym battle. Ash found the Petalburg Gym and met Max. May stopped him and allowed Ash to meet her parents, Caroline and Norman. Norman turned out to the real Petalburg City Gym Leader. Norman used his Pokémon, a Vigoroth, to save May's Torchic from Team Rocket. Norman is a good friend of Professor Birch and was most likely to have been the person to send May to Littleroot Town to get her first Pokémon. As May did not initially like Pokémon, this seems to have created some distance between the two. Before Ash knew that Norman was May's father, he comments that it sounds like she knows the Petalburg Gym Leader pretty well, to which she replies, "No, I just wish I did" and becomes subdued. Eventually, it was time for Ash Ketchum's battle with Norman. Using his Grovyle, Pikachu, and Torkoal, Ash defeated Norman's Pokémon, much to Max's dismay. Max stole the Balance Badge and locked himself up in Norman's greenhouse. Norman was able to get Max under control and give Ash his Balance Badge. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Brock was asked to contact Norman about joining the squad, and whether or not he should tell May and Max. He has a rather peculiar personality. He is undeniably flamboyant, wearing an outfit similar in appearance to Cacturne. He has very effeminate mannerisms, which include wiggling his hips as he walks. Another example of his feminine side was during the Kanto Grand Festival, Harley cross-dressed as May. As evidenced by his Contest performances, Harley is extremely scheming, and will attempt to trick or ruin his opponent in order to win. Harley also tends to use nicknames for May behind her back. The first of these is Miss Tent. He currently has Contest Passes to compete in Hoenn, Kanto, and assumably now Johto as well. Harley considers May to be his sworn enemy. When the two Coordinators met, Harley was annoyed at May for petty several reasons: she was not familiar with his Cacturne, she called Cacturne "scary," and she spoke as if she was unsure of her statements, specifically regarding cookies Harley offered her. Later, the two competed in a Contest, Harley using Cacturne and May using Bulbasaur. In an attempt to publicly humiliate May, Harley played a recording of Max recalling a time when May was younger and she became stuck in water with a swarm of Tentacool and was extremely frightened. May was embarrassed, but went on to defeat Harley. Harley and May would meet again later. Her grandfather was the Gym Leader before her, but he eventually decided to leave to pursue his love for Pokémon poetry. At first, he was unsure of Flannery’s ability to be a Gym Leader and came back, but he left again after she battled Ash, now confident in her. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Flannery was training with her Pokémon on Mt. Chimney when her Torkoal finds the entrance to Team Magma’s old hideout. The place has been long abandoned, save for several groups of Team Magma robots, the majority of them Mechcargoes, Mecha Torkoals, and Camerupt Tanks. There is no activity here, but before Flannery exits the base, the same red helicopter from Liza’s intro flies by and the robots activate. Flannery and her Pokémon end up having to escape the hideout before the molten automations would consume them. She seals away the entrance to the base before they can get out and gets a call from Winona about the squad. She has her own personal greenhouse with her own home-made irrigation system to raise her Sunflora. Unlike other trainers who used various odd methods of Pokémon raising such as trips to tanning salons or hiring performers to keep them entertained, Sonrisa simply provided her Pokémon with fresh air, water, and sunshine. Her prize Sunflora, Sunny, fell into a depression before the festival because its neighbor Sunflora was traded away to Nurse Joy. Sunny later won the festival after displaying its powerful Solarbeam technique. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Bloomingvale is struck by a major problem. She, however, uses this to her advantage, using her sex appeal to win various Pokémon battles against guys. As you can tell, Milane likes to dress very lightly, usually only wearing a sleeveless knot-tie half-shirt and short jean shorts. She also happens to be a little athletic. The reason for this was doing gymnastics when she was younger. The only problem with Milane is that she sometimes looks down on other girls, considering them not as pretty as herself. Other hobbies Milane does are also known for showing off her body. She sometimes likes to go down to some forested lakes during sunny days, where she lies down near the water in a lounge chair wearing nothing but a bikini top and sarong. You can sometimes see her going for a swim there as well, even asking you to jump in and join her. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Milane decides to join the squad and take down Team Flora. They both specialize in Psychic-type Pokémon. Tate and Liza's father owns the Mossdeep Space Centre and often goes into space to search for space Pokémon. This means that they often spend time at the Space Centre, and even have battles in zero-gravity by using their Baltoy's Confusion technique to levitate them. Their mother is the judge for Gym Battles. Liza is the older of the two, and is more experienced in battle, allowing Tate to relate with Max. When fighting together in their double battle against Ash, they kept initially kept bickering and allowing their opponent to get hits in. However, once they were able to work together they showed an incredible ability to balance each others Pokémon, becoming a seemingly unstoppable force that Ash had to resort to unorthodox tactics to defeat. In Pokémon Peace Squad, both Tate and Liza are listening to their father while he’s on a space mission. Name: Duplica Debut: Pokémon Anime Gender: Female Age: 15 Height: 5’6” Weight: 100.0 lbs Hair: Green Eyes: Brown Blood Type: AB Home: Unknown Occupation: Costume Artist Alignment: Hero Description: Duplica is a young girl who works as a performing Pokémon trainer and impressionist. She owns an bandoned mansion that is actually called "The House of Imite" with her Ditto. She showes off Ditto's ability to transform into any Pokémon. However, her Ditto first had trouble transforming one aspect of it - its face. No matter what Pokémon it Transformed into, it always retained the beady eyes and wobbly mouth of a Ditto. After an incident involving Ash and his friends and Team Rocket, which got her Ditto to transform into a Pokémon completely, Duplica felt she was ready to open up her mansion as a theater to entertain passing Pokémon trainers. Much later, in Johto, she obtained another Ditto, Mini-Dit, with another problem. It could Transform into perfect replicas of other Pokémon, in every way but size. An example of this is when it transformed into an Onix, she had a tiny, hand-held Onix. After another incident involving Ash and co. and Team Rocket, Duplica recovered Mini-Dit and decided that its unusual transformations made it unique; the audience seemed to agree. Although Duplica sometimes performs by imitating Pokémon herself, her usual shows feature her imitating a Pokémon Trainer while her Ditto imitates that trainer's Pokémon. She did an excellent impression of Ash and Nurse Joy, for instance. Over time, she has obtained two more Ditto. The first of these is Giga-Dit, who is the opposite of Mini-Dit. It always becomes big no matter how it transforms. The second of these is Tone-Dit, who has a quirk that prevents it from changing its color properly. Tonedit happens to be a shining (alternate-color) variety, which means it stays blue regardless of how it transforms. Duplica’s disguise ability has taken on amazing proportions lately. For example, she can now disguise herself as such characters as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow. In Pokémon Peace Squad, Tails has come back from his flight with Falkner to see Sonic. When he steps out of the Tornado 2, he notices Sonic looks bigger than usual. As it turns out, it’s actually Duplica in disguise. Coming out of her disguise, Duplica then tells Tails she has to head off for some business to attend to. Tails gets back in his plane to do the same. Duplica meets up with Erika, who has told her about the squad. Duplica is ready to join. Quote: "(As Sonic) Tails, maybe you should look a little closer!"
