How this stage works is that each section of the stage is a whole stage, but which one you play through depends on which character you're playing as in Story Mode. In Co-op Mode, a random one out of any that you've cleared in Story Mode is chosen.
Voice Notes: Prof. Birch uses his voice from the anime. The Team Plasmic guards use generic voices.
Background Music: The White Park Act 1 theme plays throughout the Snow Cascade part of the stage. The White Park Act 2 theme plays throughout the High-Speed Coaster part of the stage. The White Park Act 3 theme plays throughout the Cold Depths part of the stage. All three themes are from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II.
Stage Note: Regardless of which sub-stage you go through, about halfway through, you'll find a switch that opens up a number of Plasmic Cages, these holding the Sinnoh Now crew. During the following interview, Rhonda brings up that she and the Sinnoh Now crew were ambushed by the Shadow Triad. Characters who got special interviews the first time get special interviews here as well (it's the same character list for all three interviews, and as usual, each character who gets a special interview has their own unique special interview). Once again, we see the obligatory boom mic-on-Rhonda action, then Rhonda shouting at the boom operator, who this time decides to voice his disgust for Rhonda's yelling and decides to storm off, even going as far as to throw down the boom mic and say the B5 word out loud.
SUB-BOSS: Dark Minister
When fighting the Dark Minister, the Sonic Generations remix of Stardust Speedway Bad Future (JP) from Sonic CD plays.
Prismatic Cavern
Description: "A series of transparent crystal tunnels going through an icy mountain. The new Team Plasmic is here in order to uncover a hidden area."

-Defeat the Team Plasmic guards
-Activate and cross the crystal bridges
-Meet up with Rouge
-Get through the ice block maze

-Reach the Goal Gate
Voice Notes: Prof. Birch uses his voice from the anime. The Team Plasmic Grunts use generic voices. Rouge uses her voice from Sonic-series games prior to and including Sonic Heroes and Sonic Advance 3.
Background Music: A remix of Crystal Man's stage theme from Mega Man 5 plays throughout the stage.
Ice Cathedral
Description: "An ancient structure risen from the Freon Snow Sea containing the Black Pillar. The new Team Plasmic is after it, and in order to stop them from doing so, you'll need to call upon Shadow and Rouge and traverse time."

These cutscenes occur after clearing Ice Cathedral.
Cutscene: The chosen character, Shadow, and Rouge enter the core of the temple where they find N confronting Ghetsis, who stands next to the Black Pillar. Ghetsis refers to N as "the freak who talks to Pokémon" and says that he should have killed him years ago. Hearing this, Shadow yells out to Ghetsis on just what he's doing here. Ghetsis sees the chosen character, Shadow, and Rouge, and says to Shadow that he should have an idea on just what seeing that Prof. Gerald Robotnik had done research on Reshiram and Zekrom. Shadow asks Ghetsis what he knows of Gerald, which Ghetsis responds by producing a disc containing information of Prof. Gerald's research. Ghetsis explains that for 60 years, this information was stored away by GUN, but his special "pets" (by this he means the Shadow Triad) have managed to find the disc and give it to him. Rouge realizes that it was the Shadow Triad that broke into Prison Island and stole the disc. The chosen character speaks up and asks Ghetsis just what power do the White and Black Pillars have.
Cutscene: Ghetsis slams his cane onto the ground and yells "COME FORTH, KYUREM!" A gray portal like back in the Mirage Temple opens up and Kyurem comes out of it. Ghetsis explains that Kyurem is more powerful than any of the people in the chamber, even more powerful than the Ultimate Life Form (Shadow). He goes on to explain that the Black Pillar connects Kyurem to Zekrom, whose lightning is as hot as a thousand suns. Seeing what's going to happen, Shadow yells "Chaos Spear!" and launches a projectile of that name at Ghetsis, only for Kyurem to create an ice shield that blocks it entirely. Ghetsis tells Shadow to show some restraint as he explains that Kyurem on its own has the power to freeze the world and that he'll show everyone a demonstration. Kyurem opens a portal above it and everyone is sucked through it.
Cutscene: Outside on the cathedral's roof, everyone watches as Kyurem fires a stream of ice that shoots out over a dozen kilometers and rotates to the right, creating a colossal wall of ice several dozen stories tall that encompasses most of the Freon Snow Sea. With this done, Ghetsis commands Kyurem to make contact with the Black Pillar. Once Kyurem does so, both it and Kyurem glow in a bright black color. As a huge column of black energy forms around it, N tells everyone to run, which everyone but Ghetsis does. Suddenly, there's a black explosion that tears the temple apart and sends out swirls of ice and lightning throughout the snowy sea, lifting everything in sight, including the remains of the cathedral, into the air. The chosen character and everyone else have landed on a floating piece of the temple as they gaze upon Kyurem, they see that it's now Black Kyurem. Ghetsis explains that Kyurem has now absorbed the power of Zekrom, and before it reverts back, it'll wipe out everything in sight, including everyone it sees.
