These stages are part of a special DLC episode titled Episode MechaMew2. Taking place before the events of the game, this chronicles MechaMew2's return starting from after Ghetsis found and reprogrammed it. The story here is that Giovanni fetches MechaMew2 from the moon and trains it for what he's planned by going to various places to test its power, taking down other villainous team Grunts and equivalents and gathering things such as Chaos Shards and Wisps. In these stages, you play as MechaMew2, so here's how MechaMew2's controls stack up:

I want you to take down holographic versions of the foes you'll go up against, to hone your powers!" Objectives: -Begin your training -Take out all the holographic clones -Meet with Giovanni
Voice Notes: Giovanni uses his voice from the anime. Background Music: Remixes of the Wily Stage 1 theme from Mega Man 9 play in each section of the stage.
