Description: "A kingdom whose structures had fallen due to volcanic upheaval long ago. Team Magma wants the Time Crystals hidden here."
Molten Lake
Description: "A massive sea of magma where the buildings of this kingdom are slowly sinking. Team Magma patrols the burning area."
Objectives:

-Cross the lake of lava
-Defeat the Team Magma guards
-Dive under the magma
-Get past the giant Torkoal robot
-Reach the main castle
(Lava Cascade)
-Ascend the molten falls
-Cross using Barrel Cannons
-Avoid the lava geysers
-Reach the top of the falls
(Scorched Tunnel)
-Get past the rising and falling upside-down lava pool
-Defeat the Team Magma guards
-Escape from the descending upside-down lava
-Navigate the turbulent parallel lava pools
-Keep in between the two rising parallel lava pools
-Reach the Goal Gate
Past Version: The stage is still molten, although the lava is more of an orange color than red. There are also more landmasses as well as more pillars and structures. Most of the stage's gimmicks are still present. The music themes in the stage are Past remixes of their normal themes.
Voice Notes: Prof. Oak uses his voice from the anime. The Team Magma guards use generic voices. Prof. Freonia uses an original casting for her voice.
Background Music: The Underground Rhythms theme from Touhou Takkoman Kouzatsu World plays in the Burning Spires part of the stage. A remix of Flame Stag's stage theme from Mega Man X2 plays throughout the Lava Cascade part of the stage. The Redhot Ride Act 2 theme from Sonic After the Sequel (a fangame) plays throughout the Scorched Tunnel part of the stage. When fighting the Torkoal robot, the Mid-Boss theme from Freedom Planet (an indie game) plays.
Deep Stronghold
Description: "A giant castle that has fallen into disrepair after volcanic surges decimated everything around it. Through here is the way to Team Magma's tower."
Objectives:
-Explore the castle
-Defeat the Team Magma guards
-Get past the Charizard statues
-Get past the crushing ceiling
-Get through the dark chambers
-Defeat the Flame Knight
-Reach the hidden passage
Past Version: The stage isn't much different, although the castle is in better shape than in the Present. The dark maze is lighted, however. Most of the stage's gimmicks are still present. The music theme in the stage is a Past remix of its normal theme.

-Defeat Hank
-Reach the Goal Gate
Past Version: The stage isn't much different in terms of aesthetics, but the path through the stage is much different than in the Present. Most of the stage's gimmicks are still present. The music theme in the stage is The Redhot Ride Act Special theme from Sonic After the Sequel.

Magma Tower
Description: "A tall tower built by Team Magma located on top of the volcano, fueling the structure. You'll need to get the red Time Prism back from Team Magma."

-Defeat the Team Magma Grunts
-Defeat Harland
-Sink the lowest part of the tower
-Defeat Courtney
-Take down the huge Volcanion robot
-Escape the sinking part of the tower
-Defeat Tabitha
-Recover the red Time Prism
-Reach the tower's top before it's too late
Past Version: The stage isn't much different, although the tower, while still metallic, appears old, and several of the mechanisms work differently. Most of the stage's gimmicks are still present. The main music theme in the stage is a Past remix of its normal theme.
Voice Notes: Prof. Oak and Harland use their voices from the anime. Tabitha uses the voice that was (incorrectly?) given to Hun in the anime. The Team Magma Grunts use generic voices. Prof. Freonia and Courtney use original castings for their voices.

BOSS STAGE: Magma Titan
When fighting Maxie, the Cragma boss theme from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks plays. When Maxie's health reaches half, the music switches to a "pinch" version of the same theme.
