This is a special multiplayer mode that will allow up to eight players, either locally or via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, to duke it out against each other. A way to play the single-player campaign on a Wii is detailed in EX: Ranger's transmittable data. To download the multiplayer component, you must meet this minimum: You must have downloaded episode 1 to the Wii's flash memory and completed the Forest Highway stage. If you've cleared other stages in episode 1 or have downloaded further episodes to the Wii's flash memory, you'll be able to download the new multiplayer component.
To access Arena mode, using a Wii, you'll need to transmit the passwords on the following to the Tajiri server: Tucker's Weavile, Anabel's Munchlax, Lucy's Munchlax, and Tucker's Bonsly.
The multiplayer mode saves as a file on the Wii's flash memory. To start up the multiplayer, start the file like you would a Virtual Console game. In this mode, you'll be able to unlock and play on 11 special stages. Each player needs their own Wii, either a Gamecube controller or a Wii Classic controller, and a connection method, either local Wi-Fi or online via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Once you start up the multiplayer, you'll find two options, Connect and Synch.
Under Connect, you can choose Start Game or Join Game. Under Start Game, you'll choose the number of players (two through eight), your game mode, your multiplayer stage, and the character you're using. Players who pick Join Game will then be able to select your game from the available games. Under Join Game, you'll pick a character, then a list of games will come up that don't already have the character you've chosen picked by someone else. Select it to join the game. Once all players have joined the game, the game will begin. The player who has the highest upgrades available has their upgrades apply to all characters in the game (for example, if one player has all the Chaos Drive upgrades but no other player has any upgrades, the Chaos Drive upgrades apply).
In addition to the items that normally appear in Arena, there is also an item that is exclusive to this mode called a Fake Item. A Fake Item resembles an item capsule with a random item in it, but upside down. This can be picked up by using the X Button and placed anywhere in the stage. If a Fake Item is opened, it explodes and the player suffers 40 damage. Place a Fake Item somewhere where an item will normally appear to trick your foes into opening it.
There are several game modes. They are as follows:
Deathmatch: The player who starts the game selects the number of minutes the game will last or the number of "kills" someone must attain to win the game. Whoever has the most "kills" at the end of the game, or the one with the most kills when time is up, wins. A tie in a timed match is decided by a sudden-death scenario where the last one standing wins.
Team Match: Only available with two, four, six, or eight players. The player who starts the game selects the team that player wants to be on, whether team attacks are to be allowed, then the number of minutes the game will last or the number of "kills" someone must attain to win the game. Players can then join a team until the team fills up. If team attacks are not allowed, a player's attacks except for ones that harm the user will have no effect on a teammate. Whoever has the most "kills" at the end of the game, or the one with the most kills when time is up, wins. A tie in a timed match is decided by a sudden-death scenario where the last team with a member standing wins.
King of the Hill: The player who starts the game selects the number of points needed to win the game or the number of minutes the game will last. An area of the stage is designated as the "hill". Any player who stays in there for 18 seconds earns a point. The first player who gets the specified number of points, or the one with the most points when time is up, wins. A tie is decided by a sudden-death scenario where the first to one point wins.
Capture the Trophy: Only available with two, four, six, or eight players. The player who starts the game selects the number of captures needed for the team to win the game or the number of minutes the game will last. This is a team game where the goal is to capture the opponent's trophies. Each team has a specified base with their trophy. The red team defends the Hoenn Grand Festival trophy (oddly enough, this is still the case if Robert's on the blue team), while the blue team defends the Hoenn League Championship Tournament trophy (oddly enough, this is still the case if Tyson-HL's on the red team). The goal is to bring the other team's trophy to their own base while their own trophy is still there as many times as possible. A player grabs the other team's trophy by walking up to it, but a player holding the trophy can't use their L or R button actions (Duplica's disguise remains on if you're playing as Duplica and you've put a disguise on when you grab the trophy). If you get "killed" while holding the other team's trophy, you'll drop it. If your teammate grabs the trophy, they'll take possession, while if the other team grabs the trophy, the trophy will return to their base. The first team to make the requisite number of captures, or the team with more captures when time is up, wins. If the teams tie, a sudden-death scenario where the first team to make a successful capture wins.

Here's the list of stages you'll be able to play on:
Red Mountain (Available from start) This stage is a recreation of Knuckles's version of Red Mountain from Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (with the same music), with some obstacles added for characters to traverse the various parts (such as springs and Jump Ramps) (most of them are taken from Sonic's version of the stage used in the single-player). You’ll also be able to break some crates found here for items. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol
Cruise Ship (Available upon reaching episode 2, or from start if you already have episode 2) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. You're fighting on the cruise ship from the Ocean Liner level. The radio and submarine aren't there (although the same music is) and the elevator leading down to the submarine dock won’t work, so don't even bother looking for them. Also, there are no tourists in this stage, so no need to worry about innocent casualties. This stage is filled with narrow corridors that might make a Capture the Flag game tough. Also, all of the ship’s passenger cabins are open, allowing you to hide out from foes. You’ll find crates in the Pokémon Arena and galley to break for items. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol
Bunker Jungle (Available upon reaching episode 3, or from start if you already have episode 3) This stage is based on the Amazon Dense level (with the same music) from the single-player mode, except more complex. Poison plants appear in abundance here, which means Antidotes can and will appear here. The layout for the stage includes such things as poison water areas, vines, some ruins, and a massive red flower in the center of the arena. Break crates on the ruins for items to collect. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol
Intersection (Available upon reaching episode 4, or from start if you already have episode 4) This stage is based on the recreation of Sonic Advance 3's Route 99 (the music played here is the Route 99 VS. Boss stage theme). The stage consists of two perpendicular stretches of highway, two off-ramps, and two on-ramps. Along both stretches of highway are breakable crates that you can find items inside of. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol
Rocket Highway (Available upon reaching episode 5, or from start if you already have episode 5) This stage is an interesting one. You're fighting on top of cars driving along a Team Rocket-held circular highway (with the same music from the Radio Mess stage), which means you'll end up making a full lap around the highway if the game lasts long enough. If you take a look at the surrounding area for this stage, you’ll notice that while the stage resembles the Rocket Chase stage, all the buildings around you have the Team Rocket “R” on them and other related symbols “such as “TEAM ROCKET” and are also different colors. The signs on the divider edges also display the Team Rocket “R” and “TEAM ROCKET”. All the vehicles seen in this stage also have the Team Rocket “R” on them and come in all kinds, long trucks, car carrying trucks, sign-carrying trucks, huge semi trucks, and small cars that serve as stepping stones; all the vehicles are “hover” and if you look in the driver’s sets, there’s no one there, meaning that the they are all automated. In short, many people consider this place to be a city built by Team Rocket, and call in Neo Rocketopolis. For the vehicles themselves, many of them have such things as springs, Dash Panels, Jump Ramps, and cannons that allow you to easily reach other vehicles. The semi trucks here also have such things as breakable crates and laser grids. It's two-way traffic, which makes Capture the Flag games easier here. The highway also goes through four tunnels along the way. Cars keep going on and off the highway using the on-ramps and off-ramps; your suicide count goes up if you get too far off the main highway. Additionally, if the hill in a King of the Hill game is on a vehicle that takes an off-ramp, the hill will be redesignated immediately. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak
Power Plant (Available upon reaching episode 6, or from start if you already have episode 6) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. You're fighting inside the power plant from the Plasma Power Plant level (the music's also the same). The area is a part of the plant that you never entered in the main game, more specifically, the area around reactors 11 and 12. The arena consists of corridors with stationary, sensory, and proximity laser fields, shafts with moving yellow lasers, and four large rooms containing pools of concentrated energy and magnetically-held bridges and floating platforms to use to get through them. The generator rooms themselves have Battle Cubes you can use, but the generators are permanently protected by force fields that can’t be deactivated. Look for items in breakable crates in both rooms. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol
Cipher Pyramid (Available upon reaching episode 7, or from start if you already have episode 7) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. You're fighting inside the Cipher Key Lair (complete with the same music). There aren't any Shadow Generators or Departure Teleporters here, though. The setup here is more simplistic than its main game counterpart, consisting of halls with side conveyors and laser emitters, shafts to reach upper and lower levels, rooms with conveyor belt floors, rooms with “rise” tiles, and also four storage rooms, which contain crates that you can break apart for items and are usually the hills in a King of the Hill game. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol
Gold Saucer (Available upon reaching episode 8, or from start if you already have episode 8) This stage is a recreation of the Gold Saucer from Final Fantasy VII. You'll be fighting inside the facility itself (the music that plays in this stage is the music from the main area of the Gold Saucer), including the built-in game areas that you can go through--and this includes the Chocobo racetrack!
This is also a very interesting stage with various obstacles to find. A floating TV in the lobby states the wonders of Gold Saucer.
"Welcome to Gold Saucer! Many attractions await you here at Gold Saucer. You will be moved and excited, thrilled and terrified! Led from one zone to another...Unlike anything you've ever experienced! Make YOUR memories...Today"
Now for the facilities themselves; you start in the area called “Station Square” (no relation to Sonic Adventure DX). From there, you can go to several more areas.
Wonder Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "A number of games await you here. Collect GP at Wonder Square and play some more!". However, you won’t be able to collect any GP. The games here, which consist of Arm Wrestling Mega Sumo, Super Dunk, Wonder Catcher, G Bike, Fortune Telling, Mog House, 3D Battle, Submarine Game, and Snowboard Game, are also offline for the time. It’s just a place used as part of the arena.
Battle Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "Go to the limits in heated battles! Try your hand at the special Gold Attack!". This is interesting, as the slot machine here can add in several handicaps and even enemies to the area, something you can use to heat up the battle. The 20 slot possibilities below are:
Potion: A Potion appears for you to collect. Super Potion: A Super Potion appears for you to collect. Hyper Potion: A Hyper Potion appears for you to collect. Yellow Potion: Your health is decreased equal to a Potion. Orange Potion: Your health is decreased equal to a Super Potion. Red Potion: Your health is decreased equal to a Hyper Potion. X Attack: An X Attack appears for you to collect. X Defense: An X Defense appears for you to collect. X Speed: An X Speed appears for you to collect. Red X Attack: Your Attack stat is decreased by 2. Red X Defense: Your Defense stat is decreased by 2. Red X Speed: Your Speed stat is decreased by 2. Magma Symbol: Four random Team Magma robots (other than Magma Soldiers) appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2. Aqua Symbol: Four random Team Aqua robots (other than Aqua Soldiers) appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2. Flora Symbol: Four random Team Flora robots (other than Flora Soldiers) appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2. Plasma Symbol: 4 random Team Plasma robots (other than Plasma Soldiers) appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2. Rocket Symbol: Four random Team Rocket robots (other than Robo Rhydons) appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2. Eggman Symbol: Four random Eggman robots from Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Heroes, and Shadow the Hedgehog appear in the arena. Egg Hammers and E-2000’s are excluded from this. GUN Symbol: Four random GUN robots (other than Bigfoots) appear in the arena. Those that carry weapons carry a random weapon. Draco Symbol: Four random Team Draco robots out of Dragonair Controls, Shelgon Tanks, Seadra Twisters, and Vibrava Drones appear in the arena. Their Tier is anywhere from 1 to 2.
If any robots appear as a result of the slot machine, you can defeat them for items. The item an enemy drops is correspondent with its size, health, and Tier. Such items include Fake Items.
Chocobo Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "Chocobo Racing takes you into the world of Virtual Reality! Wark! Wark!". There are Chocobos here racing down the racetrack, and you can ride one by getting near it and pressing X. The stats for a Chocobo are; Power 3, Speed 6, Defense 6. You can use these Chocobo to damage and chase your foes, but you can’t leave the racetrack area with one. The area within the racetrack has several crates you can open for items.
Event Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "An entertaining show is awaiting you." There’s no play in progress, but the stage props that are around the area can be used against foes.
Ghost Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "Please come and stay at the hotel...ha ha ha...". There is a tile in the center of here that has a regenerating item on it. Every time you collect an item, another one appears in its place. More powerful items are rarer and you can also pick up a Fake Item here as well.
Round Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "Take a tour of the park and see the beautiful night scenery of Gold Saucer.". This circular area is a nice place to lose foes and also has a large ring of items you can pick up, including a cache of Fake Items.
Speed Square: The floating TV when you enter here says "A shooting Roller Coaster is waiting to take you into the world of excitement.". You’ll actually be able to run along the coaster track, but watch out for the Roller Coaster as it comes speeding by, which you can also jump into to find items to collect.
In short, this is one of the most exciting stages you can unlock due to all its areas and mechanics. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak
Launch Pyramid (Available upon reaching episode 9, or from start if you already have episode 9) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. You're fighting in the Launch Bay stage (including the music). You can't launch the shuttle here, though. You’re in the launch bay itself, and the doors leading into the other sections of the stage are locked, but you’ll be able to take walkways up to control and computer areas in the walls on the bay (which you could only see the protrusions of in the main game). You’ll find crates with items all around the main floor. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol
Space Station (Available upon reaching the Final Episode, or from the start if you already have the Final Episode) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. You're fighting in the Space Station stage (with the same music). This is an area of the Space Station you never reached in the main game. The arena consists of some corridors with laser fields, shafts with teal lasers, and four gravity hub-esque rooms with four gravity switches apiece, allowing you to take the battle to perplex proportions. There are also four large central rooms in the middle of the stage where crates can be opened for items. There is also an observatory here you can enter. However, the glass in the observatory is destructible. Don't attack the glass, you'll depressurize the observatories and possibly kill yourself and everyone inside it! The glass will respawn after 90 seconds and pressure will return to normal from there. There are also four air locks in this stage leading out into space. There’s a top area above consisting of a maze of laser walls and satellite dishes and docked satellites and a bottom area with a large arena made entirely of solar panels and has a ring of solar platforms surrounding it. Hover Lasers are quite abundant in this stage, especially on the solar panel arena. There are more crates to break open for items here. The only rule here is that no more than one person can be inside an air lock at a time. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol

Battle Frontier (Meet a special condition to unlock this stage) This stage is the Battle Frontier (the music for this stage is the Battle Frontier theme from Pokémon Emerald). You'll be battling in and around each of the facilities. It's a large stage and matches here should be interesting. Each of the facilities here have mechanics of their own to make the stage more interesting. Here’s the description on each facility.
Battle Factory: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Factory. To know Knowledge, that is the key to winning.” The inside of the Battle Factory consists of several square-shaped rooms and have hazards such as laser grids and conveyor belts, some of which carry laser emitters. The gimmick of this Battle Facility, is the fact that the Pokémon actions of the character you’re using are stripped by two machines upon entering. Instead, you’ll find some item capsules with Pokéball symbols in them in several of the rooms. By opening one, you’ll obtain a rental Pokémon for one of your L or R actions. There are 30 different Pokémon that you can get. Here they are below.
Venomoth 1: Signal Beam - Ranged attack. Used to lure enemies and for offense. Venomoth 2: Sludge Bomb - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Slowbro 1: Surf - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Distance affects damage. Slowbro 2: Psychic - Ranged attack. Used for moving obstacles. Exeggutor 1: Solarbeam - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Exeggutor 2: Psychic - Ranged attack. Used for moving obstacles. Lapras 2: Hydro Pump – Ranged attack. Used for offense. Lapras 2: Blizzard - Ranged attack. Used to disorient enemies and for defense. Dragonite 1: Outrage - Melee attack. Used for clearing obstacles. Dragonite 2: Wing Attack - Melee attack. Used for offense. Lanturn 1: Hydro Pump - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Lanturn 2: Thunder - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Ampharos 1: Thunderpunch - Melee attack. Used for offense. May paralyze enemies. Ampharos 2: Light Screen – Nondamaging attack aimed at user. Used for defense. Jumpluff 1: Stun Spore - Nondamaging ranged attack. Used to paralyze enemies. Short range and wears off quickly. Jumpluff 2: Cotton Spore - Nondamaging ranged attack. Used to slow enemies. Heracross 1: Megahorn - Melee attack. Used for clearing obstacles and for offense. Heracross 2: Brick Break - Used for clearing obstacles. Houndoom 1: Crunch - Melee attack. Used for offense. Houndoom 2: Flamethrower - Ranged attack. Used for offense and to clear certain obstacles. Ludicolo 1: Hydro Pump - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Ludicolo 2: Razor Leaf - Ranged attack. Used for clearing obstacles and for offense. Sableye 1: Faint Attack - Melee homing attack. Used for getting past obstacles. Sableye 2: Shadow Ball - Ranged attack. Used to lower enemy's defenses. Aggron 1: Iron Tail - Melee attack. Used for clearing obstacles. Aggron 2: Rock Slide - Ranged attack. Used for offense and defense. Whiscash 1: Surf - Ranged attack. Used for offense. Distance affects damage. Whiscash 2: Fissure – Ranged attack. Delivers an instant-knockout blow, but very inaccurate. Metagross 1: Meteor Mash - Melee attack. Used for offense. Metagross 2: Psychic - Ranged attack. Used for moving obstacles.
Whenever you leave the Battle Factory, you’ll be stripped of your rental Pokémon and be given your usual ones back.
Battle Arena: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Arena. Test your Guts with no Pokémon.” The area consists of a large dojo with a raised battle platform in the center and steps leading up to it. The moment you step into the Battle Arena, however, you won’t be able to use any L & R actions. Basically, all you’ll be able to do is punches and homing attacks to other foes. There are several X Attacks to find here, through.
Battle Dome: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Dome. Express your Tactics.” This is more of an aerial-based facility. The interior of it may be devoid of spectators, but several large TV screens going the entire circumference of the upper part of the dome display what’s going on in here. The dome interior itself consists of several large floating platforms that move in several directions or float in place. You’ll get several X Speeds to make yourself faster.
Battle Pike: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Pike. The thing to battle is Luck.” Here, there are seven sets of three rooms you can enter, each with a floating TV in front of them. The Battle Pike rooms vary and one of the three is hinted at the clue that the TV says. Here’s what the clues are and what they depict.
“There is nothing beyond here.” One of the rooms behind the curtain contains nothing to find.
“I sense great power here.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has three X Attacks to collect.
“It’s best to be defensive.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has three X Defenses to collect.
“Speed will always prevail.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has three X Speeds to collect.
“You may feel weaker after this.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has a strange red laser that fires down from the room. This laser will reduce your Power stat by 6.
“Vulnerability may lie beyond here.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has a strange green laser that fires down from the room. This laser will reduce your Defense stat by 6.
“Are you willing to become sloth?” One of the rooms behind the curtain has a strange blue laser that fires down from the room. This laser will reduce your Speed stat by 6.
“Your health lies on the scales” One of the rooms behind the curtain has two item capsules with question marks on them. One contains a Potion, the other contains a yellow-colored potion that reduces your health by an amount equal to a Potion.
“Would you take a gamble?” One of the rooms behind the curtain has two item capsules with question marks on them. One contains a Super Potion, the other contains an orange-colored potion that reduces your health by an amount equal to a Super Potion.
“Are you willing to risk death?” One of the rooms behind the curtain has two item capsules with question marks on them. One contains a Hyper Potion, while the other contains a red-colored potion that reduces your health by an amount equal to a Hyper Potion.
“You could be rendered handicapped.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has a surprise attack will inflict a status condition on you. The status conditions includes Kirlia's burn, paralyze, or poison and Dusclops's burn, freeze, or disorientation.
“Your soul will become hotter.” One of the rooms behind the curtain is filled with lava, which will rise and fall. There are a few platforms floating in the magma and also some solid platforms that you can cross. Inside are also 4 random Team Magma Robots (other than Magma Soldiers) and are Tier or Tier 2.
“Dive deep into the darkness.” One of the rooms behind the curtain is a twisting chamber that fills up with water as soon as you enter. You’ll need to swim through the room while getting past four random Team Aqua robots (other than Aqua Soldiers) and are Tier or Tier 2.
“You may need the cure in here.” One on the rooms behind the curtain is a twisting chamber with a grass floor, trees, and countless poison plants that you’ll weave by. Because of this, you’ll find Antidotes to heal your poison status if necessary. You’ll need to get through the room while getting past four random Team Flora robots (other than Flora Soldiers) and are Tier or Tier 2.
“I sense energy waves behind here.” One of the rooms behind the curtain is filled with concentrated energy. There are floating platforms moving over the energy pool and laser fields you must get past. Inside here are four random Team Plasma Robots (other than Plasma Soldiers) and are Tier or Tier 2.
“Will you blast off again?” One of the rooms behind the curtain has Dash Panels that send you through the twisting passageways. There are four random Team Rocket robots here (other than Robo Rhydons) and are Tier 1 or Tier 2.
“Things behind here are metallic.” One of the rooms behind the curtain has no floor in the middle. You’ll need to use moving platforms to reach the other side. Along the way are 4 random GUN Robots (other than Bigfoots). They may carry any weapon.
“What shape is more prefect than a sphere?” One of the rooms behind the curtain has conveyor belts carrying laser emitters. Also in here are four random Eggman robots (other than Egg Hammers and E-2000’s). If you are wondering about the riddle, an egg is more perfect than a sphere.
“In space, no one can hear you scream.” One of the rooms behind the curtain is shrouded in darkness and also filled with wall-like pillars, making it hard to navigate. Along the way are four random Team Draco robots (other than Flygon Storms, Kingdra Cyclones, Salamence Jets, and Dragonite Crafts) and are Tier 1 or Tier 2.
“Great danger is behind this curtain.” One of the rooms behind the curtain contains 1 or 2 of one of these enemies; Magma Soldier, Aqua Soldier, Flora Soldier, Plasma Soldier, Robo Rhydon, Bigfoot, Egg Hammer, E-2000, Flygon Storm, Kingdra Cyclone, Salamence Jet, Dragonite Craft. They may be either Tier 1 or Tier 2.
The purpose of this Battle Facility is to test your skills and also net you items. The only risk is that you could also become weakened. If you end up in a room with enemies to defeat, they drop items for you, and those include Fake Items. If you enter a room depicted by “Great danger is behind this curtain.”, the rewards are greater.
Battle Palace: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Palace. Raise your Spirits by battling in the weather.” The Battle Palace tests your abilities at nature. The top of the palace is open and every minute, a random weather that’s used by Dragonair Controls is generated. With these weather conditions, matches here will take on a whole new turn. Also be on the look out for X Defenses upon the pillars making up the interior.
Battle Pyramid: The floating TV when you first enter here says “Battle Pyramid. Show your Bravery in the dark mazes.” The interior consists of seven mazes, one on top of the other. The area is dark, and by pressing switches in each maze, you’ll light up the area. At the end of each maze is a warp tile to send you to the next maze. The hazards in each maze consist of random robot enemies from the whole set listed. You’ll also find items of all kinds here. If you reach the top of the Battle Pyramid, there’s another warp tile that sends you back to the facility entrance.
Battle Tower: Now this is an interesting facility! The Battle Tower consists of 8 levels, each with its own motif. Upon entering the Tower, you’ll find a floating TV in the lobby that says “Battle Tower. Test your Ability and skills.” Enter the elevator in front of you to head up to the first level. Each level has 4 elevators by each of the sides, stadium seats lining each of the areas separated by glass walls, an arena in the center of the area that fits the area’s style, and in the center of each area in the arena, there’s a floating TV that names the area (listed below).
Magma Level: The first area of the Battle Tower has a red tint to it and consists of a large lava pool making up the middle of the area. The perimeter of the lava pool has several Magma Eyes that you need to be careful of and the lava itself has several platforms that move back and forth in the magma and also several spinning flame jets.
Desert Level: This level of the Battle Tower has an orange tint to it and consists of sandstone making up the area. In the center happens to be a large pool of quicksand with various desert ruins in it. There are also several square platforms that sink when you step onto them. Plasma Level: This area has a yellow tint and the entirety of it is a concentrated energy pool. There are several floating platforms over the energy pool, including where the elevators are. In order to make your way around the level, you need to use Air Saucers that are found near each elevator area to make your way around the energy. The hazards here consist of hover carts containing laser cannons.
Flora Level: This level has a green tint and consists of grass and an open palm tree setting. A small poison pond resides in the center of the area and there is a tree walkway system connecting the trees that you can reach using springs. The hazards here are Laser Flowers found on each of the trees, turning the area into a laser grid.
Arctic Level: This area of the Battle Tower has a teal tint and is very icy. It’s snowing constantly in here and the entire floor is ice. There are also several ice spikes and blocks throughout the area. There are a few frozen liquid pools here that freeze you instantly if you fall into one, so you’ll have to be careful.
Aqua Level: This level of the Battle Tower has a blue tint and is entirely submerged in water. Upon reaching the level, the elevator will fill up with water before opening. There are several bubble grates on all surfaces and also several Aqua Bubbles, containing both bubble and laser cannons in them.
Highway Level: This area has an indigo tint and a city-like setting. The water from the level below drains upon reaching here and there are four highways spiraling up from the elevators. There are also several yellow platforms moving up and down here. The hazards are auto missile launchers that are found along the highways.
Space Level: This level has a violet tint and a space-like setting. Eight anti-gravity generators along the bottom make it that you float in this area. There happen to be several boxes and also bombs that float throughout the area and to make matters worse, there are also a number of Hover Lasers (1) to be careful of.
Each level has several various items (including Fake Items) that you can collect or pick up. If you take the elevator from the Space Level to the top of the Battle Tower, you’ll reach the roof, where a warp tile in the center will take you back down to the entrance. Try losing your foes in this Battle Frontier facility!
Like Gold Saucer, the Battle Frontier provides you with some amazing facilities to battle in. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak

In the Synch option, you'll be able to input your progress passwords from both the Normal Mode and the Jenny Mode of the DS version of Pokémon Peace Squad. If you input a correct progress password, you'll get a new password that will allow you to use any character you've unlocked via the Wii multiplayer in the DS version of Pokémon Peace Squad. This also increases the number of acceptable final progress passwords needed to unlock each reward from 1 to 8. You must unlock each character in sequence.
To unlock Noland, simply play the multiplayer mode once. After the game is done, a CPU Noland will challenge each eligible participant to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight on the Red Mountain stage. If a player beats Noland, you've unlocked him. If Noland beats you here, simply play another multiplayer match for another chance. Unlocking Noland also unlocks the Battle Frontier stage.
To unlock Greta, you must first unlock Noland and have reached episode 3 in the single-player, then score a total of 100 "kills" in Deathmatch and Team Match modes from the point you unlocked Noland. Once you've met that quota and finished the match, a CPU Greta will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Bunker Jungle stage. If you beat Greta, you've unlocked her. If Greta beats you here, simply play another multiplayer match and attain at least one "kill" for another chance.
To unlock Tucker, you must first unlock Greta and have reached episode 4 in the single-player, then play at least 10 Capture the Trophy matches from the point you unlocked Greta. Once you've met that quota, a CPU Tucker will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight on the Intersection stage. If you beat Tucker, you've unlocked him. If Tucker beats you here, simply play another Capture the Trophy match for another chance.
To unlock Lucy, you must first unlock Tucker and have reached episode 6 in the single-player, then attain "Raging Riot" (10 straight kills on the same life) at least once from the point you unlocked Tucker. Once you've met that quota and finished the match, a CPU Lucy will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Power Plant stage. If you beat Lucy, you've unlocked her. If Lucy beats you here, you're going to have to attain another "Raging Riot" for another chance.
To unlock Spenser, you must first unlock Lucy and have reached episode 8 in the single-player, then attain "Killing Spree" (5 straight kills on the same life) in the span of one minute after you've unlocked Lucy. Once you've met that quota and finished the match, a CPU Spenser will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Gold Saucer stage. If you beat Spenser, you've unlocked him. If Spenser beats you here, you're going to have to attain another one-minute "Killing Spree" for another chance.
To unlock Anabel, you must first unlock Spenser and have reached the Final Episode in the single-player, then win at least 100 multiplayer matches after unlocking Spenser. Once you've met that quota, a CPU Anabel will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Space Station stage. If you beat Anabel, you've unlocked her. If Anabel beats you here, simply win another match for another chance.
To unlock Brandon, you must first unlock Anabel, then win a multiplayer match at least 15 times...with EACH of the other characters, including those unlocked through the multiplayer. And the count only begins after you've unlocked Anabel. With a whole slate of playable characters, that's a lot of matches you must win. Once you've met the high quota, a CPU Brandon will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Battle Frontier stage. If you beat Brandon, you've unlocked him. If Brandon beats you here, simply win another match for another chance.
There's one other opportunity for an unlockable, but it's completely optional. You can't Synch this unlockable opportunity for the DS version, however, unless you've also met that progress in the DS version. For a chance to get Juan as early as the start of Episode 9 Stage 2 (technically, if you take advantage of this chance, Juan'll count as being unlocked at the end of Episode 9 Stage 1, which means you can use Juan immediately after this opportunity) in the Wii version, simply win a King of the Hill match with Wallace without completing the Final Episode (Juan is normally unlockable as part of the character package you unlock by clearing Draco Spacelab Area 5). If you've completed the Final Episode, you'll have unlocked Juan anyway, so you can't take part in this unlock match after completing the Final Episode. Once you've won a King of the Hill match with Wallace, a CPU Juan will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch fight in the Cruise Ship stage. If you beat Juan, you'll unlock him earlier than you normally would. If Juan beats you here, you can simply win another King of the Hill match with Wallace for another chance, or just complete the Final Episode to unlock Juan that way.
