If you don’t like spoilers, don’t read beyond this point, as the characters below happen to be characters that you unlock through other means. Some of them happen to be among the most unexpected characters to be featured in this game. Note that with the exception of one (Jack Walker), none of these characters get cutscenes like the rest. (For example if you’re using Mario, when you confront Maxie, the cutscene is skipped and you go straight to the battle.)
Name: G/S/C Rival
Debut: Pokémon Gold/SIlver

Age: 16
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 140.0 lbs
Hair: Red
Eyes: Red
Blood Type: A-
Home: Unknown
Occupation: Pokémon Trainer
Alignment: Neutral/Dark
Description: This person is the rival of Jimmy and Marina, and is about their age. He has long red hair and piercing eyes. Fan speculation is that he may be Giovanni's child, due to his dark demeanor and also his detestment of Team Rocket. He broke into Professor Elm’s lab and stole a starter Pokémon there (a Totodile) and also stole a Sneasel from a man in Cianwood City. Throughout his travels, he showed a strong hate for Team Rocket. He strongly interfered with the revived Team Rocket's plans at least twice, including their experiments with radio signals at the Lake of Rage. His stated reason for this dislike was that they are "weak" when cornered, and that he only cares about strong opponents. During one of his missions against Team Rocket, her apparently fought against Lance, who utterly decimated him. Silver is soon frustrated, as he claims that Lance told him he doesn't love his Pokémon enough. In Pokémon Peace Squad: Timerunners, this rival is a hidden character that can be unlocked in multiplayer mode (but not single player mode).

Gender: Male
Age: 30’s

Description: You’ve got to be joking! Mario in Pokémon Peace Squad?! Well, you should know who he is, and if you don’t, then you haven’t played any video games at all! Well, here he is in a nutshell. Mario got his start as “Jumpman” in the first Donkey Kong game, Mario had to climb several levels in order to rescue his girlfriend, Pauline, from the clutches of Donkey Kong. Whatever became of Pauline is unknown, as she may have dumped him eventually. Later, Mario and his younger brother, Luigi, duked it out in a couple 2D arenas complete with pipes from which various enemies would pop out of. Eventually, Mario got his big break in Super Mario Bros., from where he had to rescue Princess Peach Toadstool from the clutches of the evil Bowser. Over time, he has made a number of friends (and enemies), which include a number of Toads, Yoshis, Princess Daisy, as well as rivals to him and Luigi known as Wario and Waluigi. He’s also utilized a multitude of powerups from the Super Mushroom to the Fire Flower to the Starman as well as these particular ones; Raccoon Leaf, Frog Suit, Tanooki Suit, Hammer Suit, P-Wing, Cape Feather, Wing Cap, Vanish Cap, Metal Cap, Mega Mushroom, Mini Mushroom, Blue Shell, and very recently, Ice Flower, Bee Mushroom, Boo Mushroom, Spring Mushroom, Rainbow Star and also Red Star. He has starred in a number of varieties of games ranging from platformers to puzzle games to racing games to RPG’s and has even has a long line of party games for you to play! Mario’s also done it all; he’s saved the Mushroom Kingdom of many occasions, has gone into the world of the subconscious, has traveled around the world (well, Luigi did), traveled through time, jumped into paintings, traveled to a topical resort island, and will also be traveling into space! His friends and relatives has also gotten their own games; Luigi going through a haunted mansion hunting ghosts, Peach getting emotional (if you know what I mean), a number of adventures featuring Yoshi, and Wario has started up his own video game company (WarioWare anyone?)! That’s not the end of it, as Mario is also one of the titular characters in the Super Smash Bros. series and after such a long wait, Mario is finally taking on Sonic at the Olympic games! Well, with all of that out of the way, in Pokémon Peace Squad: Timerunners, Mario is perhaps one of the most unexpected surprises in the game as a hidden character, and once you unlocked him, he can be used in multiplayer mode and even the story mode. However, he doesn’t get any cutscenes.
