When faced with the Go-Rock Squad, you’ll go up against a good variety of robots that appear in a bit of a progression setup. Not only that, they happen to come with a lot of powerful attacks and are suited to be in almost any terrain.
//Go-Rock Grunt// Found: Central City, Go Rock Cave Health: 160 (Central City), 180 (Go Rock Cave) Info: These are the Go-Rock Squad’s generic grunts and happen to have an unusual taste in attire. To make things even more unusual, their weapons look like music instruments, but that doesn’t mean you should take them for granted. They have some pretty mean weaponry at their arsenal and the strongest of them guard to Go-Rock Squad’s base, plus get to use the Go-Rock Sights! Attack 1: Punch - It’s just a punch thrown at you. It doesn’t do too much damage and tends to be used when the Grunt becomes unarmed or has none to begin with. <5 damage> Weapon 1: Violin Bow – This is a crossbow disguised as a violin and fires arrows at you rapid-fire. The arrows travel fast and can be hard to dodge. <10 damage per arrow> Weapon 2: Autoharp Gun – A machine gun disguised as an autoharp, get ready for a barrage of bullets when faced against this weapon, which is simply the same as other guns. <5 damage per bullet> Weapon 3: Guitar Rifle – This is an assault rifle that’s disguised as an electric guitar. It happens to be stronger than the Autoharp Gun and fires faster as well. <10 damage per bullet> Weapon 4: Cymbal Blade – This may look like a cymbal used on drums or in a band, but is actually a razor sharp throwing disc. It comes flying back to its owner afterwards. <40 damage> Weapon 5: Drum Bomber – This is a grenade launcher disguised as a pair of bongos. When drummed upon, it launches grenades at you that explode on contact. <30 damage per grenade> Weapon 6: Piano Shockwave – A more high-tech weapon that looks like an electric piano, this weapon fires small shockwaves with every key that is pressed. <20 damage per shockwave> Weapon 7: Bass Launcher – What looks like a bass guitar is actually a rocket launcher. It has the ability to fire two rockets at you at once, making it a formidable weapon. <40 damage per rocket> Weapon 8: Go Rock Sights – A weapon created by the Go-Rock Squad, this weapon comes equipped with a scope that allows the user to see through walls, and the gun can even fire through walls! However, it requires a lot of energy to fire its shots; you'd need the energy provided by 10 rings or an equivalent of a different energy source (it's rumored that Go-Rock Sight wielders here are using Rotom in their guns). Basically, you’re dealing with a powerful weapon here. <50 damage> Shield: Silver Shield - A silver reflective shield used by Go-Rock Grunts, the Silver Shield blocks all attacks and sends direct attacks back at you. You must strike the Grunt directly with a homing attack to get rid of the shield and make the Grunt vulnerable.
//GRS-01 Sandslash Wheel// Found: Capital Highway, Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 50 Info: One of the Go-Rock Squad’s basic robot troops, Sandslash Wheels may start off slow, but when they attack, the really speed up and you may end up getting hit before you get a chance to strike. The normal variations will attempt to grind over you like a wheel, while shiny versions have 2/5 more health and also attack using their claws and blue-gray versions have 4/5 more health and have the ability to cause fissures using their claws. Extra Info: The Sandslash Wheel is 1.4 meters tall and weighs 75 kilograms. The speed it can acieve when it’s in wheel form is said to be as high as 200 mph. If you get stuck in it, you take damage. <30 damage per second>
//GRS-02 Mecha Pinsir// Found: Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 70 Info: More dangerous robots, but not as deadly as the superior Scizor Crushers, Mecha Pinsirs have the potential to do high amounts of damage with their claws, which also unleash small shockwaves when used. They also have pretty good defense, making taking them down harder than it already seems. Normal versions attack with claws, while shiny versions have 2/7 more health and also fire missiles, and red versions come with 4/7 more health and can crush you with their pincers. Extra Info: The Mecha Pinsir stands at 2.1 meters and weighs 275 kilograms. Its pincers have 20000 HP and can easily crush any vehicle or cut them in half. Attack 1: Slash Claw – Slashes at you with its claws. The slash creates a tiny shockwave when used. <30 damage> Attack 2: Homing Missile – Fires a barrage of small missiles at you that home in on you. <20 damage per missile> Attack 3: Crush Pincer – Grabs you with its pincers and attempts to break you in half with them. <50 damage>
//GRS-03 Sudowoodo Bonsai// Found: Go-Rock Cave Health: 50 (per section) Info: Similar to the Exeggutor Totems of Team Flora, these robots are composed of multiple parts. Unlike Exeggutor Totems, however, there isn’t a “weak part” to it, and it can function even if one of the parts is destroyed. Just attack them constantly until all three parts are destroyed. Normal variations hurl rocks at you, while shiny versions have 1/5 more HP and also use a spinning attack, and the jungle green versions have 2/5 more HP and use a smash attack. Extra Info: The Sudowoodo Bonsai stands at 2.1 meters and weighs 325 kilograms. If even the top section is destroyed, this robot can still function properly. Attack 1: Rock Triad – Three rocks rise up above and to its sides, then come hurtling towards you one at a time. <20 damage per rock> Attack 2: Spinning Arms – The Bonsai spins around at high speeds while moving like a top. Getting hit knocks you back a bit. <40 damage> Attack 3: Triple Smash – All three parts separate and come flying at you one at a time. Each strike does a different amount of damage. <10 damage 1st, 30 damage 2nd, 50 damage 3rd>
//GRS-04 Fearow Jet// Found: Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 70 Info: Pretty much the Go-Rock Squad’s flying robots, Fearow Jets are fast and can sometimes fly at you, making them tough adversaries. Some of them also come with holo-scanners for the purpose of detecting intruders and sending in more backup. In addition to their detecting capabilities, normal versions can drill into you with their beaks, shiny variations have 20 more HP and can also slam you hard with speed that you just can’t match and yellow-orange versions have 40 more HP and will launch missiles that in addition to damage also cause several shockwaves upon impact. Extra Info: The Fearow Jet has a length of 1.8 meters and weighs 225 kilograms. It’s said to achieve speeds of 240 mph and also turn like a military fighter jet. Attack 1: Drill Beak – Its beak starts spinning rapidly like a drill and it lunges towards you. This attack breaks through any defenses that you may have up. <30 damage> Attack 2: Rocket Slam – The Fearow charges up the rockets in the back of it, then rushes at you with high speed, knocking you back a distance if you get hit. <50 damage> Attack 3: Shock Missile – It launches an electrical missile from its beak at you that upon hitting the ground, also creates a shockwave that damages. <40 damage missile, 20 damage shockwave> **- Hijackable by Duplica: Controls: Control Pad Up, ascends; Control Pad Down, descends; L, fires Drill Beak/Rocket Slam/Shock Missile; R, dismounts.
//GRS-05 Camerupt Tank// Found: Capital Highway, Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 90 Info: Also seen with Team Magma, Camerupt Tanks happen to be a more elite staple in the Go-Rock Squad’s ranks and are usually headed by Go-Rock Quad Tiffany. If there’s no lava nearby, these large robots will create their own lava puddles to stand in. Normal versions will launch heat waves at you, while shiny variations have 1/6 more HP and also launch clusters of flames and the hot magenta versions have 1/3 more HP and will create rifts in the ground. Extra Info: The Camerupt Tank is 2.7 meters tall and long, 1.2 meters wide, and weighs 750 kilograms. Its volcanic humps can absorb any lava around them and use them for weapons. Attack 1: Heat Wave – Launches a wide wave of intense heat in your direction that may also burn. The only way to dodge this attack is to jump into the air. <30 damage, may also burn> Attack 2: Cluster Flames – Fires a barrage of large clusters of flames at you that move slowly, but do a lot of damage if any of them connect and damage. <40 damage per cluster> Attack 3: Earth Rift – Slams the nearby ground, a large shaking rift that not only damages, but also flings you into the air if you get hit by the shockwave. <50 damage>
//GRS-06 Scizor Crusher// Found: Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 90 Info: A flying robot with more dangerous potential than Fearow Jets, Scizor Crushers have the potential to do large amounts of damage with their arrays of attacks. They also come with high defense, making them hard to take down, and normally attack with their claws. Normal ones rely on just their claws, while shiny versions have 1/6 more health and can possibly cut you in half with their arms, and orange versions have 1/3 more health and have a powerful crushing attack that can hinder you quite easily. Extra Info: The Scizor Crusher is 2.4 meters tall and weighs 375 kilograms. Its claws have about 10000 HP of crushing power and its wings allow for limited flying. Attack 1: Metal Claw – One of its claws glows and grabs you. If you get caught, you’ll feel an electrical-like shock that you need to use L & R toggle to break free. <20 damage per second> Attack 2: Atomic Scissors – Both of its arms glow and seem to take the form of scissor blades, then attempt to cut you scissor-style which can do more damage. <40 damage, may do 40 more damage> Attack 3: Laser Crusher – Intense laser energy spirals around one of its claws, then it will slam the claw down on you, crushing you with its intense force. <60 damage> **- Hijackable by Duplica: Controls: Control Pad Up, ascends; Control Pad Down, descends; L, fires Metal Claw/Atomic Scissors/Laser Crusher; R, dismounts. Note: Scizor Crushers have limited flying ability, unlike other robots Duplica can hijack, so you can’t get around as much.
//GRS-07 Tyranitar Titan// Found: Go-Rock Cave Health: 150 Info: One of the Go-Rock Squad’s strongest robotic soldiers, Tyranitar Titans carry a lot of health and do a lot of damage, making them quite a threat. They have the ability to break off a part of a surface and crush you with it, create a large shockwave for damage, and can even fire huge laser blasts at you. To make matters worse, shiny versions have 1/5 more health and also take less damage. Extra Info: The Tyranitar Titan is 5.1 meters tall, 3.7 meters wide, and weighs 2.8 tons. Like an actual Tyranitar, it’s capable of knocking down a mountain with just one arm. Attack 1: Stone Crush – It will grab a part of the ground or wall and break a huge piece off. It then will slam the piece right down on you, inflicting serious damage. <60 damage> Attack 2: Earthquake - Slams the ground hard, sending out shockwaves that can damage you. <50 damage> Attack 3: Hyper Laser - Charges up, then fires a Power Laser-sized laser blast that is hard to avoid. <50 damage>
//GRS-08 Slaking Soldier// Found: Central City, Go-Rock Cave Health: 150 Info: Another powerful robot, Slaking Soldiers are so powerful that they only start moving when something approaches them and take several seconds to launch another attack. But they move swiftly and their attacks deal a ton of damage. They can punch, slam you with their arms, and also try to crush your head in. If you thought normal versions were dangerous, the shiny variations have 1/5 more health and have a shorter waiting period to attack. Extra Info: The Slaking Soldier is 5.1 meters wall, 2.4 meters wide, and weighs 2.6 tons. The reason for their delayed attack time it due to the amount of energy they use up. Attack 1: Power Punch – Will attempt to punch you hard, and the attack will send you flying back if it connects. <60 damage> Attack 2: Hammer Arm – The Soldier will lift one of its arms, then slam it down on you. This attack also lowers your Speed stat by 3 if it does connect with you. <60 damage> Attack 3: Giga Crusher – Using both arms, which start glowing, the Soldier will attempt to crush you with all of its might, causing you to suffer severe constant damage. <50 damage per second>

As you make your way through the Wily Tower, a large number of Dr. Wily robots will attack you. Wily has brought back a large number of his miscellaneous robots from anywhere from Mega Man 1 to Mega Man 8. With so many enemies, it’s best to stay ready!
//Metool// Found: Wily Tower Health: 30 Info: The trademark of the Mega Man series, these are yellow hard hats with green crosses. They usually lie in wait with their hats down, covering their eyes and feet. Their helmets are impervious to most known weaponry, so one must wait until they pop up to fire. When Metools are firing is also when they can be damaged. Metools usually fire a three-way spread shot. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: A typical Metool stands at 0.75 meters and weighs 20 kilograms. They are primarily used for construction work. Attack 1: Energy Shot – The Metool will lift its impenetrable casing to shoot a spread of 3 energy shots at you. <10 damage>
//Bubble Bat// Found: Wily Tower Health: 30 Info: These bulbous black bats hang upside down from objects on the ceiling until you get close, then drop and fly toward you. Attack them when they have their wings open. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Bubble Bat has a diameter of 0.75 meters and weighs 15 kilograms. Its wings are made out of the same substance that a Metool’s hat is made out of. Attack 1: Crash Damage - When you come close, it starts flying toward you and follow you attempting to cause crash damage. <10 damage>
//Sniper Joe// Found: Wily Tower Health: 60 Info: The fabled Sniper Joes are the first incarnation of what would later become a whole family of Joes, each similar in appearance and attack style and almost always possessing the trademark visor. Sniper Joes defend themselves with their shields and, while standing, are only vulnerable from the front while they are firing. If you want to take one on head-to-head, wait until it fires, then jump its shots while hitting it with your own. Sniper Joes can also be damaged while they are jumping. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Sniper Joe stands at 1.5 meters and weighs 100 kilograms. It was originally used as a police robot. Attack 1: Energy Gun - It will stand behind its shield, and fire three fast energy shots at you. <10 damage each shot>
//Octopus Battery// Found: Wily Tower Health: 60 Info: Large eyes with suction cups that stick to walls. Their only way of dealing damage is through direct contact, and they have little in the way of an attack. Octopus Batteries slide from side to side or up and down in a preset pattern, going back and forth and pausing for a short time at each wall. Because of their slow speed and predictable patterns, dodging Batteries is rather simple. With normal attacks they do take a number of hits to defeat however. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Octopus Battery has a length of 0.9 meters and weighs 30 kilograms. They have the ability to stick to walls. Attack 1: Side Move – This robot will go from side to side or up and down, and adhere to whatever floor, ceiling or wall it comes in contact with. <10 damage>
//Blocky// Found: Wily Tower Health: 50 Info: This enemy is four barrels stacked on top of each other; one of them has eyes. Not surprisingly, shoot the face. Sometimes when you defeat this thing, it will shoot its other three barrels outward, and the head falls to the ground, only to restore itself a few moments later. Shoot it again to defeat it. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: Blocky stands at 1.8 meters (0.45 meters per barrel) and weighs 80 kilograms (20 kilograms per barrel). Attack 1: Block Attack - When the capsule with eyes is attacked, Blocky breaks apart with the other three capsules going up into the air and back down toward you. After a couple seconds, the eyed capsule will have three more capsules transported to its location, and it will be repaired. After this, one more attack will destroy it. <10 damage>
//Crazy Cannon// Found: Wily Tower Health: 40 Info: This guy has a little hand on one side, which it can use to adjust the aim of its cannon barrel. Kind of cute, but it means that the trajectory of its shots is subject to change. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Crazy Cannon has a diameter of 0.9 meters and weighs 30 kilograms. Attack 1: Energy Shot – This robot will shoot arching energy shots in two waves: the first are long range with a slight arch, and the second reach higher and fall closer, and thus more dangerous if you happen to be beneath the robot. <20 damage>
//M-445// Found: Wily Tower Health: 75 Info: One of the more high-tech looking robots in the game. This one looks remotely like a jellyfish, but honestly, it resembles the bubble boss from Mega Man 1 even more. These float around in the water you’ll get into later in the stage. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The M-445 has a diameter of 0.9 meters and weighs 25 kilograms. Attack 1: Aqua Pursuit - This robot will descend from above and follow you in a sine-wave pattern. <20 damage>

They keep releasing Shrimp to come after you, so take them out to put a stop to this. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Lantern Fish is 3.0 meters long, 1.8 meters tall, and weighs 600 kilograms. Attack 1: Shrimp Release – The Lantern Fish deploys up to three Shrimp that come at you. <0 damage>
//Shrimp// Found: Wily Tower Health: 15 Info: As you’d expect, these appear to move backwards. They come at you in little spurts, but are really only a danger when they gang up on you, or approach from inconvenient angles. Ranged attacks can take care of that last part fairly well, however. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Shrimp stands at 0.75 meters and weighs 10 kilograms. It comes out of an Angler Fish. Attack 1: Shrimp Tackle – This robot will swim toward you. They move in bursts, stopping periodically. <10 damage>
//Telly// Found: Wily Tower Health: 30 Info: These appear out of pipes in walls nearby, and relentlessly move toward you. Only about three of them can seen at once, but if you destroy one or more of them, the pipes will release additional ones to replace them. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Telly has a diameter of 0.75 meters, a height of 0.9 meters, and weighs 30 kilograms. It was first used as a surveillance robot, using its camera eyes. Attack 1: Crash Damage - It will move toward you slowly in the air, attempting to cause crash damage. <10 damage>
//Prop-Top// Found: Wily Tower Health: 45 Info: Springs with a helicopter prop on the top. They drop down from above and try to jump and land on you. It’s easiest to run underneath when they hop. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: The Prop-Top stands at 1.2 meters and weighs 30 kilograms. It’s unsure if it can really fly. Attack 1: Prop Slam - These will fall to the ground from the ceiling or from some source above, wind its propeller, and jump back up and try to land on you. <30 damage>
//Pipi// Found: Wily Tower Health: 30 Info: Despite its name, this is a bird which flies by and drops an egg. The egg explodes into tiny little birds that will swoop in on you. Defend yourself with an attack and you can avoid them easily. Or try to destroy the egg before it breaks. –Info from MMHP Extra Info: Pipi has a diameter of 0.6 meters and weighs 20 kilograms. Its egg has a diameter of 0.75 meters and weighs 30 kilograms. Copipies from the egg measure at 0.15 meters and weigh 0.5 kilograms. Attack 1: Copipi Egg - the Pipi will detect you and drop an egg on top of or near you. This will break, releasing a swarm of Copipies who then attack you and then fly away. <20 damage>
//Elec’n// Found: Wily Tower Health: 40 Info: A robot created essentially as a large emergency battery for use in massive power failures. Due to its incredible energy, it has a tendency to short circuit itself. Elec'n will emerge from a pipe in the ceiling, where it will hover forward, stopping above you, and then release eight sparks in eight directions. It will then continue on hovering forward. –Info from Mega Man Empire Extra Info: Elec’n comes in with a length of 1.2 meters, a height of 0.9 meters, and weighs 50 kilograms. Attack 1: Octagon Spark – Elec’n will release 8 sparks in 8 directions. It will then continue on hovering forward. <10 damage>
//Petaforce// Found: Wily Tower Health: 60 Info: A "walking eye" reconnaissance robot that seems to leisurely walk around absent-mindedly. It moves in one direction along a surface until it hits a wall, and then it will start moving in the other direction. –Info from Mega Man Empire Extra Info: A Petafroce has an eye diameter of 0.9 meters, a total length of 1.8 meters, and weighs 40 kilograms. Attack 1: Crash Damage - Petaforce will move toward you in order to inflict crash damage. <10 damage>
