This is a special multiplayer mode that will allow up to eight players, either locally or via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, to duke it out against each other. A way to play the single-player campaign on a Wii is detailed in EX: Ranger's transmittable data. To download the multiplayer component, you must meet this minimum: You must have downloaded episode 1 to the Wii's flash memory and completed the Forest Highway stage. If you've cleared other stages in episode 1 or have downloaded further episodes to the Wii's flash memory, you'll be able to download the new multiplayer component.
To access Arena mode, using a Wii, you'll need to transmit the passwords on the following to the Tajiri server: Tucker's Weavile, Anabel's Munchlax, Lucy's Munchlax, and Tucker's Bonsly. All other exisiting information of Arena can be found in the topic of the same name in General.
If you complete all of the special missions in normal mode, you'll unlock a special vehicle for the multiplayer stages and some new secrets for those stages. Completing them in both the normal and challenge modes will net you a new multiplayer game mode.
Here's the stats and controls for the special vehicle unlocked through the special missions: For controls, only the differences between on-foot and this motion are shown. If an action is the same as on foot, it's not listed here.
Drill Dozer (Multiplayer Stages): 140 HP; Power 7, Speed 3, Defense 5; Main Attack is Drill If a Drill Dozer is destroyed, it respawns at its original location.
The Drill attack indicates that the Power stat indicates damage done by the drill when the drill is in motion. Damage done by ramming, including that done by a non-moving drill, is less than damage done by a moving drill.
Destroy the Dozer: The player who starts the match selects the number of points needed to win the match. Each game in the match will begin with one player is randomly chosen to be in the stage's main Drill Dozer. That Drill Dozer will be the only one to appear in the game (any other Drill Dozer won't appear), and the player in it can't get out. In the case of Rocket Highway, the Drill Dozer will spawn the same way the hill does in a King of the Hill game. The goal is to destroy the Drill Dozer. Whoever destroys the Drill Dozer will score 1 point. Note that the one in the Drill Dozer can fight with it, and if anyone registers a "kill" of someone not in a Drill Dozer, the victim will not respawn until the next game of the match (they'll be watching other players until the game's over). The only one who can respawn is the one in the Drill Dozer, and only then if the Drill Dozer is destroyed by the environment or by suicide. If the last one standing is the one in the Drill Dozer, that player will be the one to get 1 point. The first one to reach the specified number of points wins the match.

Here's the list of stages you'll be able to play on:
Central City (Available upon reaching episode 11, or from the start if you downloaded multiplayer component after episode 11) This stage is taken from the single-player mode. It's basically a recreation of the Central City stage from Shadow the Hedgehog, like how the second half of the single-player mode's stage was (but not futuristic-like). Even the stage music is the same. What's missing from the multiplayer stage is a way to get into the Go-Rock Squad's cave, mainly because it was something added for the single-player mode. There are crates found throughout the stage to break open for items. Drill Dozer Location: There are Drill Dozers in the first places you would find Doom's Eye and Knuckles. The one in Knuckles's position is the main Drill Dozer. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol Size Ranking: ***
Crashed Colony Eurasia (Available upon reaching episode 12, or from the start if you downloaded multiplayer component after episode 12) This stage is again taken from the single-player mode, complete with its music. You're battling aboard the crashed Eurasia colony. All of the paths are open (even some not found in the single-player), but no Timerunners or Spaceriders to speak of. Every accessible room in the facility is available, even those you couldn't visit in the future in the single-player mode. In order to make traversing between the huge segments of the stage possible, there are Two-Way Teleporters found throughout the stage. Look for capsule-shaped containers in various rooms to open up for items while you're at it. And who said it can't be fun battling in ruins, there's a character to unlock here! Drill Dozer Location: There are Drill Dozers near the single-player start and at the Zero meeting spot in the single-player mode. A few secret rooms in the ruins can be accessed with the drill. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol Size Ranking: ****
Galactic Base (Available upon reaching episode 13, or from the start if you downloaded multiplayer component after episode 13) This stage is taken from the single-player mode, music included. Every room available in the Galactic Base, except for Cyrus's, is available, but you're confined to one time period. Again, there's no Timerunners or Spaceriders to speak of (there are some paths open that weren't in the single-player mode). Remember to look around for containers you can break open for items. The glass here is bulletproof, you ain't breaking it anytime soon. Drill Dozer Location: There's a Drill Dozer in the central lobby. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: ***
[Drill Dozer locations and Size Rankings]
Red Mountain: There's a Drill Dozer on the top of every playable peak. Secret rooms exist by drilling down into them from the peaks. There are also some Drill Dozers near certain Two-Way Teleporters (basically a Departure Teleporter and Arrival Teleporter combined into one device) hidden in secret rooms under peaks that were previously unaccessible. The main Drill Dozer (considered such for "Destroy the Dozer" games) is the one at the top of the volcanic peak. Size Ranking: ***
Cruise Ship: There's a Drill Dozer in the radio room. A few secret rooms on the ship can be accessed using the drill. Size Ranking: ****
Bunker Jungle: There's a Drill Dozer in the center of the stage. Secret rooms exist inside the bunkers. Size Ranking: **
Intersection: There's a Drill Dozer on the south side of the bridge's underside, next to the eastbound lanes. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Size Ranking: *
Rocket Highway: No Drill Dozer will appear here except in "Destroy the Dozer" games. Size Ranking: **** The stage is actually the largest in overall area seen from above but the stage has a large nonplayable gap in the middle of the stage, a gap large enough to knock one whole star off the size ranking.
Power Plant: There's a Drill Dozer near generator #6. A few secret rooms in the facility can be accessed using the drill. Size Ranking: *****
Cipher Pyramid: The main Drill Dozer is outside the main pyramid. Another Drill Dozer can be found near Gorigan's room from XD: Gale of Darkness. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Size Ranking: ***
Gold Saucer: There's a Drill Dozer on the Chocobo racetrack. Secret rooms exist underneath the racetrack. Size Ranking: ** Don't be fooled by the low size ranking. You never know how much stuff they can pack into such a small space...
Launch Pyramid: There's a Drill Dozer in each corner at ground level. The main Drill Dozer is the one in the southwest corner. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Size Ranking: *
Space Station: There's a Drill Dozer in each observatory. The main Drill Dozer is in the second observatory going in the single-player order. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Careful using the Drill Dozer--bore through walls and you'll get sucked into space! Size Ranking: ****
Battle Frontier: There are Drill Dozers near the Ranking Hall, in the Artisan Cave, near the ferry terminal, and at the top of both the Battle Tower and Battle Pyramid. The one at the ferry terminal is the main Drill Dozer. There are secret rooms in the Battle Tower, Battle Pyramid, Battle Factory, and Artisan Cave. Size Ranking: ****

For these stages, you'll need the passwords on all the Pokémon-ex from both RetroTeam: Red and Green (the promo set doesn't have any). You'll need a Wii as the transmission device, as well as the following Pokémon Peace Squad files in a place where the Wii can access them: episode 1, episode 11, the multiplayer component. Once you've confirmed the setup, transmit the passwords to the Tajiri server.
The piece of data downloaded adds 10 more stages to the Wii's multiplayer component for Pokémon Peace Squad. Here's the lowdown on the maps, including size rankings, Luana's setups, as well as information on Drill Dozers if you've unlocked the Drill Dozer multiplayer content pack:
Lava Shelter (Available upon downloading the maps) This stage is a recreation of the 2P Battle stage from Shadow the Hedgehog, with one big difference: Dr. Eggman's logos have been replaced by Team Magma ones. It's rather small and simple battle map, but it gets tricky if that defense system is activated! A few Air Saucers are available for riding, ride it over the lava like you would the green fluid in the Space Gadget stages. There's one big difference in the transition; the music is now that of the Lava Shelter's single-player stage from Shadow the Hedgehog. Drill Dozer Location: The only one in the stage is right next to the defense system. There are no secret rooms in the stage. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol Size Ranking: **
Soleanna (Available upon reaching episode 2, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 2) You must think I'm crazy for including a stage based on Sonic the Hedgehog '06, a game bashed by even fans of the franchise. Of course, what better location from that game for Team Aqua to splatter their mark all over than a seaside city? This stage is a recreation of the entire city of Soleanna, the main setting of Sonic the Hedgehog '06. This recreation includes the Castle Town, Forest, and New City. The map's pretty large, and it's pretty easy to get lost in. Additionally, one of the buildings that wasn't entered in Sonic the Hedgehog '06 has been converted into a movie theater, more details on the theater later in the walkthrough. Another building here has been converted into a Shockball arena, more details on the arena further down. The music that plays here is the theme that plays in Soleanna Castle Town in Sonic the Hedgehog '06. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is in a clearing in the Castle Town. Other Drill Dozers are available near the shore in New City and in a clearing in the Forest. For some odd reason, this stage doesn't allow you to bore through stuff. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: *****
Mystic Ruins (Available upon reaching episode 3, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 3) This stage is a recreation of the Mystic Ruins from Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. Not only will you find the train station area, but you'll also explore the jungle and a crashed Angel Island! However, there's no way to enter Windy Valley, the Icecap, Red Mountain, Lost World, the lobby for Final Egg (much less the Final Egg itself), or the Chao Garden. It's not a real complex area aside from the jungle, but it's a pretty large stage. There are a few Team Flora marks placed on the stage, including plastered all over Tails's workshop! The music that plays here is the music that plays in the Mystic Ruins in Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is located on Angel Island, on the staircase leading to the Master Emerald. Other Drill Dozers include one that takes the place of the mine car leading to the Chao Garden in the station area and one near Big's house in the jungle area. Secret rooms exist in the jungle area, within trees there, and also inside Angel Island. Don't dig too deep on Angel Island itself, though--if you dig too far down, you'll fall through to your doom! Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol Size Ranking: ****
Nintendo Wii (Available upon reaching episode 6, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 6) OK, you're probably thinking I'm nuts! A stage that takes place on a Wii's outer coverings, like how Mario Kart: Double Dash had a stage on top of a Gamecube and Mario Kart DS had a stage on the faces of an original-model DS? Well...no. This stage takes place on the Wii's innards--basically, you're fighting inside a Wii. The stage basically throws you right into a Nintendo Wii system placed horizontally (you pretty much can't fight inside a Wii if it's standing vertical!), and you'll be fighting along all the wires, circuits, chips, and other gadgets and gizmos that a Wii has to offer. Granted, but some of this technology bears a Team Plasma marking...Also, of interesting note, there are a few Hover Carts ridable in this stage. You can break open cubic computer-chip crates to find some items. The background music for the Wii BIOS is the background music for this stage. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer sits on top of the Broadway CPU chip. Another Drill Dozer sits on top of the Hollywood GPU chip. Two more sit in secret rooms underneath the two visible ones. Plenty of secret rooms can be accessed inside the circuit boards, including the two that have additional Drill Dozers. Careful, since if you bore too far, you'll bore your way right out of the Wii and to your demise! Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol Size Ranking: **
Rayquaza Base (Available upon reaching episode 10, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 10) You saw the base being constructed while heading toward it to fight against Dralene in the single-player. Now it's time to take on a fight inside the finished version of the base, which pretty much resembles a Rayquaza from head to tail. This is a MASSIVE stage with many rooms, which means it's easy to hide out, but also pretty easy to get lost. You can expect to find the Team Draco symbol in places through the stage, but of interesting note is the question-mark version of the symbol used for Emerald transmittable data before you actually found out about Team Draco is found in one position in the ship. Despite the huge size of the stage, you're actually just going through a small portion of the base. The hazards here are quite numerous, including laser fences of all three varieties, normal, "smart", and proximity, large chambers containing large pools of concentrated energy with Air Saucers to get you over them, shafts with moving arrow blocks as seen in Draco Spacelab, rooms stocked with unusable Altaria Orbiters, medium sized gravity hubs containing 8 gravity switches apiece, and even up to eight observation decks. Not all of the areas found here are connected seamlessly, but there are transport pod hubs that contain the same pods seen in Draco Spacelab Area 1. These high-speed pods will quickly take you from one cluster of rooms, halls, and shafts to another cluster, as they are each massive distances apart (the areas between transport pod hubs where the pods travel through are huge, glass lined tunnels with some huge windows looking out into space). There are also multitudes of floating platforms and Hover Lasers of all three tiers here. Boxes with flashing Team Draco symbols on them can be found within the Orbiter rooms and observatories (Any glass in this stage can't be broken) to break open for items. The music that plays here is the music that plays when you fight Rayquaza in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is in the main room that is in the Rayquaza's head. Another Drill Dozer is in the main room that is in the tip of Rayquaza's tail. No secret rooms exist in this stage, and if you bore through too much, you'll get sucked out into a space tunnel and to your demise! Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol Size Ranking: ***** Note: The size ranking only depicts the size of the stage itself. The entire base is so huge, you may need to add as many as 10-20 stars to the size if it was the entire base!
Celadon Game Corner (Available upon reaching episode 5, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 5) OK, a place of gaming entertainment a battle zone? Well, partly. You're able to fight in the area with the slot machines, but the real fight takes place in Team Rocket's hideout underneath. It's a 3D recreation of the Celadon Game Corner from Red/Blue/Yellow and FireRed/LeafGreen. Every twist, turn, and the like is taken from the 2D overhead and then translated into 3D. Given that it's Team Rocket property, odds are you'll find some Team Rocket symbols placed through the stage. It's not too terribly large a stage (only Intersection is smaller), but it can get confusing at times. The music that plays here is the music played in the Rocket Hideout in FireRed/LeafGreen. Drill Dozer Location: The Drill Dozer is located in Giovanni's room. No secret rooms exist in this stage. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: * (albeit on the large side for that ranking)
Shadow Pokémon Lab (Available upon reaching episode 7, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 7) This stage recreates the Shadow Pokémon Lab as it is laid out in XD: Gale of Darkness. Both indoor and outdoor areas are recreated, however, the electrified gates are as they were in Colosseum. It's not the biggest stage in the world, but it has its fair share of confusing turns and the like. All of the paths are open at once--it doesn't matter whether you take Wes's route to where Ein stood or Michael's path to where Naps stashed Krane. The music that plays here is the music that plays in the Shadow Pokémon Lab in Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is located where Ein first stood in Colosseum. The other Drill Dozer is located in the room where Prof. Krane is held in XD: Gale of Darkness. Some secret rooms exist in this stage, but there isn't much to them aside from a few powerups... Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Claydol Size Ranking: **
Snagem Hideout (Available upon reaching episode 9, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 9) This stage recreates the Snagem Hideout as it is laid out in Colosseum. A fence prohibits leaving the premises. Again, it's not too terribly big a stage, but you're fighting in ruins, which could make navigation tricky. There are items to be found in the hideout, especially in Gonzap's office. The music that plays here is the music that plays in the Snagem Hideout in Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is located in Gonzap's office. Another exists in a secret room on the ground floor. The secret rooms exist behind areas of rubble you can't get behind. Aside from the second Drill Dozer, there's not much to see aside from powerups. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: ** (albeit on the small side for that ranking)
Sekra Range (Available upon reaching episode 11, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 11) This stage is a 3D recreation of the mountains known as the Sekra Range in Pokémon Ranger, the area in Fiore where the Go-Rock Squad built their headquarters, so obviously you'll see the Go-Rock Squad's mark in this stage. There's a lot of high and low terrain to fight on, as well as some confusing mountain paths. However, you can't enter the Fiore Temple or the Go-Rock Squad's headquarters, and you can't head down to Wintown. It's not quite as wide as some other stages, but there's a big difference in the high and low points you can reach, making the stage pretty large. For items, break open crates found on the cliffs and near the Fiore Temple and Go-Rock Headquarters. The music that plays here is the music that plays in the Sekra Range in Pokémon Ranger. Drill Dozer Locations: The main Drill Dozer is found in front of the Fiore Temple. The other Drill Dozer is in front of the Go-Rock Squad's headquarters. Secret rooms exist within peaks and underground. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Marowak and Claydol Size Ranking: *****
Meteor Herd (Available upon reaching episode 13, or upon downloading the maps if you've already reached episode 13) A recreation of a stage from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle with obstacles added to assist players, the total vertical area of this stage is the highest out of all multiplayer stages. However, some Team Galactic marks have also been added. Thought the Sekra Range's highest point was high, wait until you reach Meteor Herd's! However, the stage actually isn't all that complex, and given that the other dimensions aside from elevation aren't that great, it's not as big a stage as you'd expect. There are two different sets of character starting positions, one for Destroy the Dozer games, the other for other play modes. You can find items in crates found in stacks around the main area, platforms higher up in the stage, inside the large containers, and also on the platforms around the main blue column. There are also items found inside the large boxes, the sealed rooms around the steel tower, and even inside the area beneath the tower (you need to find the switch first). The music that plays here is the music that plays in Meteor Herd in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Drill Dozer Location: The stage's lone Drill Dozer appears on the top of platform 0-4 near the bottom of the stage, in Knuckles's starting position in SA2B. Secret rooms exist inside the platform that the Drill Dozer starts on (0-4) and those similar to it (0-1, 0-2, 0-3, and 0-5). Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: *** Note: This stage is actually the smallest in overall area seen from above. However, the sheer overall height of the stage is enough to add two stars to the size ranking.
Mushroom Madness (Available upon getting no less than S rank with all three control schemes, including a silver-star rank with one control scheme, on the Mario and Wario arcade machine in episode 12's Abandoned Lab) Imagine a large, flat area with bricks and question-mark boxes floating in the air, water right below the oblivion level (which is not that far below the playing surface), and a feel similar to that from the original Super Mario Bros.? Well, this basically describes three areas of such a stage. Everything here is basically a 3D recreation of various stuff from the original Super Mario Bros.! Even the powerups are given a Mushroom Kingdom-like feel to them! You will find no powerups just lying on the ground--you have to open bricks or question-mark boxes to dislodge them. A coin is the equivalent to a regular potion, while all the other potions as well as status healing items are contained inside regular mushrooms. Careful, though, since there are also poison mushrooms here, and they contain objects that work opposite those you can find in normal mushrooms! Scopes and stat-boosting items are inside fire flowers. The Invincibility powerup from Abandoned Lab and the Max Revive powerup from Galactic Base Main Objective even make appearances here (the only such multiplayer stage to feature these particular powerups), and it's no surprise that they're rare. Invincibility manifests itself as a Starman, while Max Revive manifests itself as a 1-Up Mushroom. Max Revive works a little differently in the multiplayer outside the Destroy the Dozer mode; in any multiplayer mode other than Destroy the Dozer, Max Revive acts like a Max Potion that only activates once the character's HP hits zero. There are four areas to this stage, and you take warp pipes between these areas. The first area is an overworld area in the vein of typical ?-1 and ?-3 stages, along with certain ?-2 stages, complete with a remix of the standard overworld theme from those stages. This area runs its sky off the Wii's internal clock and, if downloaded, the Forecast Channel of the player who started the game. If 1P's Closest Location is under sunny daytime skies, it will be sunny daytime skies here. If 1P's Closest Location is under rainy nighttime skies, it will be rainy nighttime skies here. The time cycles run off the same as in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, whereas the available weather conditions incorporate every weather condition the Forecast Channel knows. If 1P doesn't have the Forecast Channel, the skies will be clear. The second area is an underground area in the vein of certain ?-2 stages, complete with a remix of the standard underground theme from those stages. The lighting here remains constant and resembles the actual underground stages. The third area is an underwater area in the vein of the remaining ?-2 stages, complete with a remix of the standard underwater theme from those stages. Unlike other areas, the water here isn't below the oblivion line--in fact, the invisible ceiling is right below the surface here! Better know how to swim when fighting here! The lighting here also remains constant. The fourth and final area is a castle area in the vein of the game's ?-4 stages, complete with a remix of the standard castle theme from those stages. The "water" here resembles lava, and the lighting here remains constant as well. Additionally, during timed matches of two minutes or more, when there's one minute left, the "low time" siren from Super Mario Bros. plays and the background music for an area switches to a sped-up version which plays for that final minute. Drill Dozer Locations: The stage's main Drill Dozer is in the first area and sits atop a three-high stack of solid blocks similar to the ones typically used to jump toward the flagpole. Other Drill Dozers are located on similar stacks in the second and fourth areas. You can't bore through anything in this stage, and you can't take a Drill Dozer into the third area. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: ***
Waruyama's Lair (Available upon getting no less than S rank with all three control schemes, including a silver-star rank with one control scheme, on the Pulseman arcade machine in episode 12's Abandoned Lab) This stage is a 3D recreation of the final boss arena in Pulseman and the surrounding area. Yes, this stage takes place at the site of the final fight against Doc Waruyama, and as such, the music for this stage is a remix of the music that plays when fighting Doc Waruyama in Pulseman. The stage has been expanded to include a maze of corridors that surround the arena (with the same texture). There are also blue containers to be found in them that you can open up for items. Drill Dozer Location: The main Drill Dozer is in the center of the main arena. You can't bore through anything in this stage. Luana's Pokémon Setup: Alakazam and Marowak Size Ranking: *

To play as Palmer on the Wii version, unlock all previous multiplayer-specific unlockables in the Wii version (the special "unlock Juan early" event does not count), complete up to Abandoned Lab, then register 5 or more kills against 50 other characters. Palmer will challenge you to a one-on-one Deathmatch in Crashed Colony Eurasia. If you win, Palmer will be unlocked. If you lose, just get 1 kill on one of the characters from before or 5 kills on another character for another chance. Once you've unlocked Palmer on the Wii version, you can use the Wii version's Synch option with your DS progress password to play as Palmer on the DS version.
Additionally, a counter will start counting the number of "kills" you get in the multiplayer upon downloading the map pack. The "kills" can occur in any multiplayer mode, with any character, and on any stage. The counter can reach as high as 1 million "kills" but can't go any higher than that; the counter is considered "maxed out" upon hitting 1 million. Once you've met a certain quota on this counter and also meet a secondary requirement in the single-player campaign (whether you met it prior to downloading the map pack or not), you'll then unlock some unlockable characters. Here's the rundown:
Characters Playable in Multiplayer: Maxie: Reach 1000 on the counter, beat Maxie in episode 1 Archie: Reach 2500 on the counter, beat Archie in episode 2 Farlie: Reach 3750 on the counter, beat Farlie in episode 3 Mario: Reach 5000 on the counter, get a gold-star ranking on Mario and Wario in episode 12 with one control scheme Brody: Reach 7500 on the counter, beat the Commander in episode 4 Pulseman: Reach 10,000 on the counter, get a gold-star ranking on Pulseman in episode 12 with one control scheme G/S/C Rival: Reach 15,000 on the counter, beat Tyson-TR in episode 5 Plasmae: Reach 20,000 on the counter, beat Plasmae in episode 6 Greevil: Reach 35,000 on the counter, beat Greevil in episode 7 Evice: Reach 50,000 on the counter, beat Elena in episode 8 Gonzap: Reach 75,000 on the counter, beat Gonzap in episode 9 Gordor: Reach 100,000 on the counter, beat Gordor in episode 11 Megathug: Reach 200,000 on the counter, beat Sigma in episode 12 Dralene: Reach 500,000 on the counter, beat Dralene in episode 10 Cyrus: Max out the counter at 1 million, beat Cyrus in episode 13
Characters unlocked through this feature are usable only in the Wii's multiplayer modes--they cannot take part in the single-player campaign. (The exceptions are Mario and Pulseman, provided you've amassed 675,000 "kills" on the count and gotten gold-star rankings on the character's corresponding arcade machine with all three control schemes. If that requirement is met, that character can be taken into the single-player campaign.) Here's the lowdown on each of them with their attacks and also their stats (note that references to game controls reference the Wii Classic Controller and the Gamecube Controller):
