SPAGONIA Description: "The world's art capital and home to a university that attracts those in search of knowledge."
Music Notes: The Spagonia day theme from Sonic Unleashed plays throughout the hub during the daytime. The Spagonia night theme from Sonic Unleashed plays throughout the hub during the nighttime.
Cutscene: We watch as the Tornado makes a crash landing at the entrance to the Spagonia hub. Right before the crash, some sort of bubble polymer envelops the plane, protecting the chosen character and Tails. After the polymer has receded, we see Tails and the chosen character emerge from the Tornado, or what's left of it. Tails brings up that whatever that laser was, it badly damaged the Tornado and it could take a while to get it fixed. He adds on that for the time being, they'll be stuck in Spagonia. The chosen character wonders just what he or she should do first, and Tails suggests going to see Prof. Pickle at Spagonia University. The cutscene ends at this point and you regain control of the chosen character.
We've made it to Spagonia, which is a location taken from Sonic Unleashed and is based off of various European cities. The hub happens to be the same as in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed, but with a new section to explore. This happens to be a pretty large hub, about the size of Flaricia's hub to be more exact. All the people that are in this hub in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed are here, plus a few new ones. Due to what has happened to the Tornado, you're now unable to head back to the World Map. The time of day that it is here is day regardless of the time it was when you left Adabat, and most of the description for this hub is taken from the daytime. Spagonia University is in the same place it was in Sonic Unleashed and the Spagonian Hot Dog Vendor is to the right. Here's a description of each of the places that you'll be able to visit in this hub:
Josef's: To get to the shop, go straight, make a right at the corner, and it's to the left. Josef will explain that a new restaurant opened by someone named Pierre now serves the food he once served, but that you can still get souvenirs and accessories here. Here's what you can buy from Josef's:
Josef's Photo Frame (Spagonia): 500p Miniature Flag (Spagonia): 500p Maschera: 750p Spagonian Cameo: 1000p
Pickle Lab: Also known here as Spagonia University, this is where Prof. Pickle is normally seen, but for some reason, something's up. Tails is here if you need to talk to him for any reason.
You'll notice a new path to the right of Spagonia University past the Hot Dog Vendor. If you go down this path, you'll find yourself in a new area. Among the locations in this section are the Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, a food stand, and a hotel. Here's a description of each place you can go to here:
Pokémon Center: If you go straight from where you enter this area and make a right, you'll find the Pokémon Center (whose motif goes well with this city). There's nothing special about this particular Pokémon Center.
Poké Mart: Make a right as soon as you enter here and then make a left at the second corner to find the Poké Mart (whose motif goes well with this city). Here's the inventory for this particular Poké Mart:
Poké Mart Potion: 100p** Super Potion: 250p** Burn Heal: 150p* Antidote: 150p* Chesto/Persim Juice: 150p* Eye Coffee: 150p* X Health: 200p X Attack: 200p X Defend: 200p X Speed: 200p X Jump: 200p Foresight Scope: 300p** Hindsight Scope: 300p** Gravity Scope: 300p** H2-SO4 Scope: 300p** Miracle-Eye Scope: 300p** Reverse-Lightningrod Scope: 300p** White Herb: 500p** *-Stored in your inventory until either selected or status condition that the item cures afflicts the chosen character (in which case it's used automatically). **-Stored in your inventory until selected.
Pierre's Café: If you go past the corner where you turn to reach the Pokémon Center and make a right there instead, you'll eventually find a famous sidewalk café called Pierre's. Here's the list for what you can buy at Pierre's Café:
Pierre's Café Strawberry Cake: 300p Pasta alla Paccico: 400p Cheese: 350p Baguetti: 200p Tomato: 150p Breadsticks: 250p Éclair: 400p Chili Dog: 250p Donut: 250p Canned Juice: 200p
Spagonia Majestic: If you go down the paths with the Pokémon Center, Poké Mart, and Pierre's Café, all three meet at a road bordering a grand hotel called the Spagonia Majestic. The exterior is classy and so is the interior. If you talk to the man (Jean De) at the counter, you'll be able to rent a vacant room. As with the other hotels, when you go inside that room, the time of day will change. You can also head out one of the two other rotundas (you entered the hotel through one) to reach a European-style patio with tables with umbrellas over them and a sprawling garden beyond it. There's a number of upper-class people to be found here and also a small lake at the back with a Milotic in the center.
If you try to go to the area where you were able to enter the hub's stages in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed (which is to the left of Spagonia University, you'll find a man named Otto who explains that he's a Gate Guardian and that he's recently discovered some changes in the shrine, such as a large statue that wasn't there before. He's currently checking it out and thus you can't enter the area at this time. You need to head back to Spagonia University and go through the doors to trigger a cutscene.
Cutscene: We watch as the chosen character and Tails enter Prof. Pickle's lab only to find it a mess (this mess is quite different from what is was in Sonic Unleashed). We see Pickle's assistant come up to the chosen character and Tails and tells them that something awful has happened. As it turns out, some people in silver outfits that had G's on them came and kidnapped the Professor. The assistant explains that one of them was a guy with blue hair that has spikes at the sides and another was an older man with glasses. The chosen character tells Pickle's assistant that he or she is going to try and figure out where Prof. Pickle is.
Cutscene: We watch as the chosen character and Tails come out onto the steps of Spagonia University to find Looker waiting for them. It's now nighttime regardless of the time of day it was beforehand. Looker explains that he's come to Spagonia after finding out that the Psycho Plate was stolen from the Alpha Gate and that from the looks of it, it must have been Team Galactic. Tails explains to Looker that they just found out that Prof. Pickle was kidnapped by Team Galactic for some reason. Looker tells the chosen character that if they can find Team Galactic in the city, they can question them for answers. Tails explains that Team Galactic may have not gotten far with the Psycho Plate or Prof. Pickle and that they still have a chance to get both back. The cutscene ends here.
Once you regain control of the chosen character, you'll reappear on the steps of Spagonia University. Looker and Tails both remain here for if you ever want to talk to them. You can now go to where Otto was before and he'll explain about the Psycho Plate being stolen by people in silver jumpsuits. He'll now let you pass into the next area. Ass through and you'll end up in the area where you were able to enter the hub's stages in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed, except there's no loading or screen transitions. The first thing you may notice upon coming here is the hub's Upgrade Shop. Here's a list of what you'll now be able to buy at any Upgrade Shop:
Upgrade Shop Green Chaos Drive: 200p; increases user's jump height/distance slightly (this includes Liza's R button superjump). When all 16 are bought, total boost is by 1.5x normal value (up to 16 can be bought). Red Chaos Drive: 200p; increases user's speed slightly. When all 16 are bought, total boost is by 1.5x normal value (up to 16 can be bought). Purple Chaos Drive: 200p; increases user's attack power slightly. When all 16 are bought, total boost is by 1.5x normal value (up to 16 can be bought). Blue Chaos Drive: 200p; increases user's total HP slightly. When all 16 are bought, user's total HP is doubled (up to 16 can be bought). Yellow Chaos Drive: 200p; increases user's defense slightly. When all 16 are bought, total boost is by 1.5x normal value (up to 16 can be bought). Red Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies while homing attacking by 10%. Orange Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies with combinations by 10%. Yellow Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies with slide attacks by 10%. Green Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies while in Mach Speed Mode by 10%. Blue Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies while hydroplaning (skating along water) by 10%. Indigo Program: 1500p; reduces damage and speed loss done to you while in Mach Speed Mode by 10%. Violet Program: 1500p; increases the amount of damage you do to enemies with basic punches by 10%. In addition to this, any character-exclusive items belonging to any character you've unlocked so far are also available.
At the back of the area is a shrine resembling a European-style church. This happens to be the hub's Alpha Gate. Simply head through the doorway to enter the Gate.
Alpha Gate: This happens to be the Spagonia Gaia Gate seen in the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, except with a few differences near the back. For one, there's now a large Lugia statue overlooking the lower part of the shrine and second, there's now an octagonal symbol in front of the second door that will activate once the boss for this Episode is defeated. Note that since the Tornado is damaged beyond repair, you normally would think you're unable to go back to other hubs, but as you might have noticed, to the left upon entering each Gate is a room containing 11 pedestals that warp you to other hubs (note that when you were first in Mazuri, that kind of room was purposely closed until you cleared Tribal Stronghold). For now, this is the only way to travel between hubs. If it's nighttime, the first door should be lighted up, so head into it to go into Spagonia's first stage.
Hub Missions: Here's a list of the missions for the Spagonia Hub:
Paris's Exhibition: Once you've cleared the Paris's Exhibition mission in Dagodney, you'll find Paris and her Lopunny in front of the Spagonia Majestic. Paris is finally wearing her normal outfit and Lopunny is wearing a smaller outfit just like Paris's. If you're playing as a female character whose listed age is anywhere between 14 and 28, you can then partake in the final Paris's Exhibition mission where you and your Pokémon wear Paris's Outfit. This mission puts you in the Rooftop Run stage where you must run through 32 ribbon gates before time is up, but must do so in a specific order; red, orange; yellow, green, teal, blue, indigo, violet, and back to the red where the cycle repeats. Once you've cleared this mission, Paris will consider her World Exhibition tour complete. She'll give you Art Book ##, which depicts her and Lopunny in each outfit that they wore in this game. Starting at this point, Paris and Lopunny will appear in each hub whenever you're there, wearing the outfits they wore when you saw them there. You'll be able to replay the missions if you like (but still only with a female character between the age of 14 and 28).
Sunflorazumarill: Here are both of the locations where Sunflorazumarill can be found in the Spagonia Hub:
Day: She happens to be on top a of a building near Josef's. However, you won't be able to reach her until you buy the Jump Tank towards the end of the game. If you talk to her, she'll give you Music CD ##.
Night: You'll find her on top of the Milotic in the lake behind the Spagonia Majestic. You need to get onto Milotic to reach her. Talk to her to get an X Attack, an X Defend, and an X Speed. You can go to her again once you've cleared a stage for another of each of the three items.
As Eusine: If you're visiting the hub as Eusine for the first time, the second you enter the entrance stage area you'll notice Luka and get a short cutscene, where Eusine sees Luka in the center of the area. A harsh scene follows where the two of them argue over the information each of them were going to look up at Spagonia University (Eusine was planning on looking up Suicune, Luka was planning on looking up Lugia), and a duel begins where it appears that Eusine has to defeat Luka.
BOSS BATTLE: Luka When fighting Luka, the Vs. Character boss theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays. When Luka is defeated, the Town Mission Clear music theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays.
Luka's method of attacking is to constantly run and jump around the place, sometimes stopping to bring out Mantine for Wing Attack, Remoraid for Psybeam, or Lugia for Brine. After losing half of her health, Luka will jump on Lugia and start attacking from the air. That is still a pretty straightforward battle, so I think you can handle this.
Once this fight is finished, you'll be able to continue with what you were doing. You get an Emblem for defeating Luka and will be able to fight this battle again anytime you wish from the Stage Select area on the World Map. If you come to the hub for the first time as Luka, you'll have to fight the battle from the other side. You'll also get an Emblem for this battle and can select it whenever you wish.
BOSS BATTLE: Eusine When fighting Eusine, the Vs. Character boss theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays. When Eusine is defeated, the Town Mission Clear music theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays.

Night Alleyways
Description: "The back roads and alleys of Spagonia. Team Galactic has the answers to where Prof. Pickle was taken." Objectives: -Navigate the alleys
-Defeat the Team Galactic guards -Shut down the Galactic Barrier -Shut down the second Galactic Barrier -Encounter Charon
Voice Notes: Prof. Oak and Charon use their voices from the anime. The Team Galactic guards use generic voices. Background Music: The Spagonia Rooftop Run night theme from Sonic Unleashed plays through the stage. When fighting a group of enemies, the night battle theme from Sonic Unleashed plays.
Now it's time to get to the three stages Spagonia has to offer us. First up, we're going through a stage composed of the night stages from the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed. The man objective here is to defeat every Team Galactic guard that you come across. Note that in this game, there are no Timerunners, Spacerirders, Ghostdashers, or Galactic Axes due to all such vehicles and weapons being found and dismantled and also with all data about them have been sealed up by the Pokémon Professors in an ultra-top secret facility (we don't know the location of it and never will) that only the five of them are able to enter. Anyway, start by heading along the street until you enter a brawl with Galactic guards. Keep along the road as you start to encounter Skuntank Treaders and Toxicroak Fighters (Team Galactic version), but when you reach a door that you need to open, you'll find a fruit stall on the other side to the left. Behind it is a Secret Item you can grab. Next up is another brawl of Galactic guards, Toxicroak Fighters, and Bronzong Cylinders. After they're gone, to open the door, grab the steel crate and place it on the switch. Keep going along the paths past a string of Hover Turrets and more Galactic guards until you reach a pair of clock towers. Here, a brawl of Galactic guards, Skuntank Treaders and a Tenta Searcher will ensue. Check the fruit stand for an X Attack if needed and head up the stairs to the towers where you'll see a cutscene of a Galactic Barrier, which is blue-violet colored, teleporting onto the left side. Fortunately, the three Galactic Emblems it takes to deactivate the barrier are within this area. The first in on top of the fountain, the second one is left around the corner of the towers, and for the third one, climb on the flower bead and homing attack a pair of Mothical Drones to reach the left tower. The right tower holds a Super Potion. Go up to the Galactic Barrier once you've gotten all three and it'll self-destruct. Keep going until a brawl consisting of Toxicroak Fighters and Starmie Spinners ensues and once the Galactic Cage holding a lever opens up, turn the lever to make the platform nearby move up and down and get on it. Sticking out a building nearby is a 500p item, but to reach it, you need to homing attack a Bronzong Cylinder near the gap in the fence. When you reach a café terrace, watch out for a group of Galactic guards. You'll need to swing along some horizontal poles to reach the next rooftop. Next up, you'll have to make your way along Venomoth Drones (Team Galactic version) to reach the next area. Doing so here is different, as instead of homing attacking them, you need to jump and grab them from the bottom and swing yourself from rooftop to rooftop. You should also check the streets below to find a Secret Item in an alley and a few 200p items along the lower streets. Be careful of a few moving Hover Turrets that also make turns around the buildings. Make your way along the rooftops and Venomoth Drones to reach a pole that leads to the next area of the stage. Next up, watch out for spikes along the street as you take down more Galactic guards until you reach a brawl consisting of Galactic guards and also two Exeggutor Totems (Team Galactic version). Be careful not to break one of the crates here, as you can then take it and place it below a grate leading to a high ledge. You'll be able to use it to reach the ledge and grab 1000p! Further along the street, you can grab onto some gold-color squares on the wall to reach 500p. Further along the street are some Toxicroak Fighters and more spikes. When you come to more spikes, you'll need to wait for them to retract before running past them. Once you get back to the main street, you'll find a switch that retracts the spikes blocking your way, but then you'll see several Rocket Saws move left and right and three Hover Turrets with holo-scanners teleport into the area. Getting caught by one causes some Ariados Webs to teleport in, including on the walls. Keep going until you reach a brawl with Galactic guards and Skuntank Treaders. At the end of the street is a switch that when pressed makes the spikes and saws go away, but also teleports in a string of fan-propelled platforms you can use to reach a wooden platform as you backtrack. After making your way along some more platforms and taking down some Galactic guards, you'll make your way across a few poles. Once you reach an alcove with a switch, press it to open the door below and head through to the next area. Next up, you'll be at the sight of the Great Aqueduct, but first get past some Lairon Rovers (Team Rocket version) and to a pole that once you ascend, you'll watch a cutscene of another Galactic Barrier appearing on the other side of the aqueduct. Along the paths here are wide gaps where you have to grab onto both Venomoth Drones and Mothical Drones and ride them over. After the first gap, you'll end up in a brawl with both Galactic guards and Skuntank Treaders. After being taken down, a Venomoth Drone teleports over the next gap. You'll need to make a U-turn and grab a Mothical Drone to reach the first Galactic Emblem. Also at this point, you'll notice light arrows being fired down at you from above. This is because there's three Gamygas at the top of the aqueduct. Next up you'll have to inch your way across a narrow ledge when a nearby Hover Turret isn't looking towards you. When you reach a pole leading down, you'll reach the next Emblem you need. Another pole on the previous level will take you to the top of the aqueduct where you'll find a wooden platform that takes you down to where the final Emblem is. Back on the top path, you can take down the Gamygas if you wish and grab 500p. Beyond them is a platform moving up and down you can use to reach the stage's Full Restore at the start of the aqueduct behind the fence. Once you go up to the Galactic Barrier, it should deactivate, and you can go past it and drop down to an area below. Here, you'll find Charon, a scientist and high-ranking member of Team Galactic. After a short cutscene where the chosen character try to make him tell him or her where Prof. Pickle is, he makes a getaway, leaving a brawl of Galactic guards, Skuntank Treaders, and Bronzong Cylinders in his wake. Defeat all enemies to make the Goal Gate teleport in and pass through to clear the stage.

Rooftop Run Description: "The sprawling streets and rooftops of Spagonia! Team Galactic has a complex at the very edge of the city you need to reach." Objectives: -Race along Spagonia's streets -Defeat the Team Galactic guards -Jump down the sewer -Avoid the Rocket Monster -Grind down the clock tower -Reach Team Galactic's building
Voice Notes: Prof. Oak uses his voice from the anime. The Team Galactic guards use generic voices. Background Music: The Spagonia Rooftop Run day theme from Sonic Unleashed plays throughout the stage.
Now we're being thrown into a high-speed daytime stage! Unlike the previous stage, which consisted of stages from the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed, this stage is taken from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed, but only involves Act 1. Once again, you need to defeat every Team Galactic guard you come across in this stage, so pay attention to that Enemy Radar! Start by taking out the ones along the street you begin on. Further down the road happens to be several Toxicroak Fighters and a few Skuntank Treaders. When you reach a few drops, simply boost along since there aren't any human enemies, just some Bronzong Cylinders. Next up, you'll need to quickstep past some small tree arrays and grind along rails past a few Venomoth Drones and take out more Galactic guards in a small tunnel. After coming out, you'll switch to 2D view where you'll boost up a fountain and into a launcher that sets you on a rail and then along another path. Simply dash your way through the Galactic guards and Toxicroak Fighters here then down the side of a building and onto another street with more Galactic guards. Don't move too slow here due to a few Bronzong Cylinders that will attempt to crush you. After wall jumping and sliding under a wall, you'll hit another launcher. Use it to boost over a Skuntank Treader and wall jump some more. After hitting Dash Panels, you'll return to normal view and dash along more streets. There's only a few Galactic guards here, so try to position yourself so that you ram them without losing speed. After you make a U-turn, watch out for some more Toxicroak Fighters on the turn and get ready to quickstep around some corners until you shoot off onto some rooftops. Watch out for Glunders during your run and two Venomoth Drones towards the end. After you land on a street, take out any Galactic guards you come across ad you make a turn and go through a large windowed tunnel with some Skuntank Treaders to watch out for. You'll reach another 2D section where you'll have to do some more wall jumping and take down a few Galactic guards afterwards as well as avoid some Hover Turrets. There's not too many human enemies here, so don't be afraid to take some high-up shortcuts. You'll come to a large grate that you'll smash through and drop down a long shaft with several Tracking Bombs to watch out for. Somewhere in this drop is a Secret Item you should grab. After reaching the bottom and dashing out onto a rail, you'll reach a set of stairs where two Hover Turrets teleport onto the sides of. There's some more Galactic guards to take out as well as two more Hover Turrets and a Venomoth Drone in between the stair paths. Dash down the road ahead and through several Toxicroak Fighters until you get to where Sonic faced some Aero Chasers. The screen shifts to facing your chosen character as he or she goes into Mach Speed Mode. Suddenly, an automated giant Team Rocket vehicle resembling a monster truck and the width of the path itself will burst onto the scene behind you. This is called a Rocket Monster, which attacks by firing lasers from a strip on the front of the car, spiraling missiles from launchers on the sides, and will also speed up in hopes of crushing you with its gigantic wheels. To dodge the speed boost, you'll need to hit a Dash Panel at just the right time to speed ahead of the truck. When you pass by a pillar, the Rocket Monster will crash into it and you'll go back to normal view as you come to a tight curve. Shoot past the Skuntank Treaders here and position yourself for some more Galactic guards to attack along the street. After hitting Dash Panels and shooting into the air, you'll hit a rail and grind along it by some Mothical Drones until you reach another rooftop area. Be careful of some Glunders and Forretress Bombers as you take down more Galactic guards and watch out for a Hover Turret towards the end as well. When you reach some balloons, drop down and crash through the windows to grab 500p and an X Speed in the building. Next up along the rooftops are Toxicroak Fighters and two Starmie Spinners. When you end up on a wall, run along it to nab 200p but be careful of Ariados Webs along the wall, too. After landing on the street, bash through some more Galactic guards until you reach a Jump Ramp that boosts you over a building. Take out the Toxicroak Fighters and Exeggutor Totem to make a pulley come down and ride it up into another 2D section where you bash through a few more Galactic guards and run through a loop. After the loop, you'll hit springs that send you to a launcher that shoots you up to an area where you need to homing attack some Venomoth Drones and hit more springs to reach a path near the clock tower. Get past two Bronzong Cylinders here and you'll hit a spring that puts you on the clock tower itself. Make the ascent up the tower by homing attacking Venomoth Drones, Xatu Flyers, and Mothical Drones as well as hitting a switch that teleports in some fan-propelled platforms at one point of the ascent. (In between these two parts, the 2D view ends.) You'll eventually reach a rail that circles the clock at the top of the tower then have to perform a Jump Panel sequence that will send you to a rail after the top of the tower. You'll grind down the rail until you reach a set of springs that set you on a path where you'll crash through some more Galactic guards and have to avoid some Glunders. You then come to yet another 2D section where you'll loop around a rail and hit a fountain that boosts you upward to a series of rails. Hit a launcher at the end to reach a spring that sets you onto the rooftops and dash through some Galactic guards and Skuntank Treaders. At the end of the ride, you'll need to perform a QTE and make your way through a Jump Panel sequence that sets you along an aqueduct. Here, where Sonic faced Aero Chasers, you'll face a group of Scizor Crushers (Team Rocket version) that will attack you. Shortly after they appear, you'll hit a trio of rails where you must jump from rail to rail to dodge their laser attacks. You'll then hit a road that slopes downward and will then have to also contend with spiked bombs along the path. You'll then reach a jump ramp that boosts you to a structure in front of an aqueduct with a large, metallic building behind it. On the first structure is the Goal Gate you'll shoot through to finally clear this stage.

Galactic Compound Description: "Team Galactic's complex located at the edge of the Spagonia capital. Prof. Pickle is being held captive here and there's the matter of getting the Psycho Plate back from Team Galactic." Objectives: -Defeat the Team Galactic Grunts -Defeat Mars -Defeat Jupiter -Defeat Saturn -Rescue Prof. Pickle -Escape the base
Voice Notes: Prof. Oak, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Charon use their voices from the anime. The Team Galactic Grunts use generic voices. Background Music: A remix of the Dust Man stage theme from Mega Man 4 plays throughout the stage. When fighting a group of enemies, the night battle theme from Sonic Unleashed plays. When fighting a Venusaur Tank or Metagross Walker, the night midboss theme from Sonic Unleashed plays. When fighting Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn, a remix of the music that plays when facing a Galactic Commander from Pokémon D/P/Pt plays.
Looks like we've made it into Team Galactic's base, which happens to be the building we reached at the end of the previous stage. This is more or less a generic base stage that resembles the Galactic Veilstone Building texture-wise. There are also a number of traps and hazards to watch out for here. Your main objective is to defeat every Team Galactic Grunt in the stage. You'll start the stage by making your way through a series of hallways that contains a few tiles that zap you if you touch them. To detect which ones are dangerous, attack the tiles and see if there's a reaction to them. Make sure to take out the Galactic Grunts along the way. After you've made it through this section, you'll enter a large room on a balcony where a brawl with Galactic Grunts and Toxicroak Fighters ensues. After they're defeated, a string of Mothical Drones will teleport in for you to homing attack to another platform. Here, you need to hit a switch to make a part of the wall flip over to reveal grates you can grab onto and climb your way to another platform. Be careful of several Glunders moving along the wall as you make your climb. Upon reaching another balcony, you get another brawl, this time with Skuntank Treaders and Bronzong Cylinders. Head through the doors to enter a room will moving laser fences you need to jump over and slide under as you get past a Tenta Searcher at the end. In the next room, there is a floor consisting of large tiles, some of which are trap doors. A few Hover Turrets with holo-scanners are in this hall, and if one catches you, all the tiles will slide open, causing you to fall. Either way, if you fall through a trap door, you'll end up in a room with a brawl consisting of Exeggutor Totems, Starmie Spinners, and some Xatu Flyers. Defeating them all opens a Galactic Cage holding a teleporter that sends you back to the start of the hall. After getting through the hall, you'll come to a shaft that has Ground Turrets in the walls. You'll need to homing attack them up the shaft to reach a set of doors that leads into a room with a large brawl consisting of Galactic Grunts, Skuntank Treaders, and Bronzong Cylinders. After all other enemies are down, a Venusaur Tank will drop down and you'll have to fight that. Once it's down, head through the doors to reach Mars, the first of Team Galactic's Commanders. She's tough, but once defeated, you'll be able to continue with the stage. Next up is another series of halls with zap tiles, but this time they're greater in number, but a switch at the beginning will make the zap tiles glow red for a limited time so you can get past them safely (some are set up in ways that you need to jump over them). Take out any Galactic Grunts as well and watch out for Bronzong Cylinders along the way. You'll enter another large room like the one from earlier, except this time you need to locate three switches to open the door. You also have to activate switches to make parts of the walls flip over to grates in a puzzle fashion. On the platform holding the second switch is a brawl consisting of Toxicroak Fighters and Starmie Spinners that opens up a Galactic Cage holding the switch. Where the door is found is a brawl consisting of Galactic Grunts and Exeggutor Totems. You'll then enter a wide hall where periodically, the ceiling will drop down and you'll have to get under holes in the ceiling to avoid getting crushed. While the ceiling is down, you need to make your way above it (this hall has laser fences both above and under the ceiling that make it so that you have to traverse both sides). There's also several Venomoth Drones and Bronzong Cylinders here as well. In the next room, you'll have to fight off some Galactic Grunts, then solve a puzzle consisting of putting movable crates on switches to open the door. When the puzzle is solved, a brawl of Bronzong Cylinders will teleport in, followed by a Metagross Walker after the other enemies are defeated. The next area is a short hall consisting of laser fields, trap doors, and two Starmie Spinners. In the next room, you come face to face with Jupiter, who is a bit tougher than Mars. After you head through the door, the screen will shift to a 2D view as you enter a tall hall with a number of catwalks. There's hazards such as laser grids, Hover Turrets, Roturrets, Glunders, Toxicroak Fighters, and Galactic Grunts along the path. If you can get onto the highest catwalk, you'll be able to grab a Secret Item. After exiting the hall, you'll enter a vertical maze of corridors where you need to take out each Galactic Grunt to open the Galactic Cage holding the switch opening the door leading out, find and hit another switch to make a series of floating platforms teleport in the area where the door switch is, go to there, cross the platforms, and hit the switch to open the door. After exiting the maze, the view returns to normal as you enter a long, wide room with balconies on the walls. Here, you'll watch a short cutscene of a Galactic Barrier teleporting in front of the door on the other side of the hall. Homing attack things such as Venomoth Drones and Xatu Flyers to get to the platforms where each Galactic Emblem you need to collect is. There are also several Cymuls in the hall you need to be careful not to touch. Where the final Emblem is located, a Venusaur Tank drops down. Destroy it to open the Galactic Cage that the Emblem is locked inside. Once you go up to the Galactic Barrier with all thee Emblems, it should deactivate and you can pass through to enter a smaller hall with more zap tiles. As you'll discover, most of the tiles in the hall are dangerous and after hitting a switch to show which ones are safe, you need to hit another one to teleport in a few platforms over the floor. At the end of the hall is a brawl with some Galactic Guards, Skuntank Treaders, and a Tenta Searcher. To make things harder, some of the tiles here are dangerous to touch. After getting through the door, you'll have to fight Saturn, the toughest of the Galactic Commanders. Once he's through, you don't have too much with the stage left. You'll enter another hall with some laser fences, a number of Toxicroak Fighters, and a few Hover Turrets with holo-scanners. If a Hover Turret catches you, the tiles making up the floor will slide out and you will fall into a room with a brawl of Skuntank Treaders, Exeggutor Totems, and also two Tenta Searchers. Defeating the group opens a Galactic Cage with a teleporter that sends you back to the start of the hall. After passing through the doors, you'll come to a large, wide hall where the screen shifts to 2D view where you'll go through a Barrel Cannon sequence. Making this tougher are moving laser fences, a number of Roturrets, and Mothical Drones If you can get into the highest Barrel, shoot upward for 1000p. Once you've made it out of the Barrel Cannon sequence, you'll come to some catwalks that have Subspace Emissary-style boosters that can send you off a catwalk and to your death. There are also Cymuls and a few Tracking Bombs you need to be careful of as well as you also make your way across moving platforms. After you enter the next room, you'll go back to normal view and face off with a 4-phase brawl of Galactic guards, Skuntank Treaders, Bronzong Cylinders, Toxicroak Fighters, and Exeggutor Totems, followed by a fight with a Metagross Walker. After you've gotten past here, you'll enter a room holding a series of prison cells where a cutscene will take place.
Cutscene: From a room overlooking the room where the chosen character is, we see Charon at a large video screen on the wall as the mysterious figure we last saw talking to Blake Hall is talking to Charon. The figure is telling Charon to prepare Prof. Pickle to be transported to his base. Charon asks just why he needs Prof. Pickle anyway, but the figure simply replies that it's none of his business and that not to question his motives. The figure adds on that Cyrus, who has disappeared, was a fool and that Charon shouldn't make the same mistakes he did. The figure says that he will get Team Galactic running again once he has Prof. Pickle.
Cutscene: Back in the other room, the chosen character finds Prof. Pickle in a cell complaining how he hasn't even gotten a sandwich altogether. He notices the chosen character and asks just who he or she is. After the chosen character explains him or herself, he or she activates the panel that opens Pickle's cell, letting him out. At this point, an alarm goes off and Charon goes to check out what has happened and finds out that Prof. Pickle and the chosen character are escaping through the next door. At this point, the mysterious figure has watched what has happened and tells Charon that he has failed him before pushing a button. A computerized voice warns of three minutes before the base blows up and the figure tells Charon to leave while he still has the chance before the screen turns off. Charon opens a hidden door to the side and heads through it.
After regaining control of the chosen character, you now have three minutes to get out of the base before it explodes and you fail the mission. Prof. Pickle is with you and you must protect him at all costs. There's a few Skuntank Treaders, Bronzong Cylinders, and Toxicroak Fighters in the halls you need to get through, but once you reach the Goal Gate, the stage is finally cleared.

Note: During this cutscene, the boss, and the cutscenes after, it's always nighttime, regardless of the time of day when you cleared Galactic Compound.
Cutscene: We watch as the chosen character and Prof. Pickle makes it to a circular arena of Spagonian architecture and lined with Spagonian flags. At this point, we see the Galactic Compound explode in the distance. In the center of the arena is Charon, who proclaims himself as the leader of Team Galactic since Cyrus has decided to disappear for an unspecified reason. The chosen character asks just what it is that Charon's doing kidnapping Prof. Pickle, and Charon replies that an employer asked him to bring Prof. Pickle to him in exchange for helping Team Galactic before the chosen character came and messed things up. At this point, Charon brings out the Psycho Plate, bringing up that the employer also wanted him to bring this to him as well. At this point, we see an large automated hovercraft that has the Team Rocket symbol on the top fly over the arena and shine its glowing lights on the area before dropping a normal-size Rocket Cage onto the ground and flying away. Charon brings up that his employer also gave him what's in the Rocket Cage, which opens up to reveal a Celebi. Charon goes up to the Celebi with the Psycho Plate and explains that Celebi will show the chosen character just how powerful the Psycho Plate is. The Plate and Celebi both glow in a bright magenta color and the two bond. The result is Celebi bonded with the Psycho Plate and glowing in a bright magenta color. The chosen character already has a feeling what's going on as Charon commands Celebi to destroy him or her.
BOSS STAGE: Fused Celebi When fighting the Fused Celebi, the Dark Gaia's Spawn boss theme from Sonic Unleashed plays. When the Fused Celebi is defeated, the Clear Fanfare 2 music from Sonic Unleashed plays.
It looks as though we got another Pokémon-based boss on our hands as Charon sits on the sidelines. The Fused Celebi attacks much like Blizzeta did in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, except forming large crystals out of leaves and psychic energy. For the first part of the battle, Celebi seals itself in several giant crystal diamonds of various colors of the rainbow with magenta tinting. As the diamond bounces around the arena launching Energy Balls at you, attack the diamond shell as it comes close to eventually break the shell and expose the next smaller layer. The crystal colors go like this; magenta-violet, magenta-indigo, magenta-blue, magenta-teal, magenta-green, magenta-yellow, magenta-orange, and magenta-red. As each crystal beaks, the diamond and Energy Balls move faster. Once the final crystal shell is broken, Celebi will be exposed and you'll be able to attack it as it flies in the air forming pink crystals and launching them at you. After a third of Celebi's health is gone, it'll form large, tall pink crystals around it and lock itself in a green crystal cage. From time to time, the screen goes to an overhead view as the Fused Celebi tries to slam the crystals into the ground on you, then crush you with the cage. When the cage comes down, attack it to break it up. Once the crystal cage is shattered and two-thirds of its health is gone, the Fused Celebi will use the crystals to form a large transparent diamond-shaped crystal that it seals itself in and floats through the air while firing both Energy Balls and smaller crystals at you. Attack the large diamond to break diamond-shaped holes into it that you can launch attacks into. Break up as much as you can to expose a large opening that you can attack the Fused Celebi directly if needed. Gradually, the holes will repair themselves with crystals Celebi creates so don't wait too long. When inside the diamond, Celebi attacks by using Psychic to push you back out, so attack quickly when in there. Once you've dealt enough to the Fused Celebi, the diamond will shatter and it is finished.
Cutscene: We watch as the bond the Fused Celebi has with the Psycho Plate is broken and the two separate, causing Celebi to return to normal. Realizing what has just happened, Charon decides to make a retreat, but Celebi uses Psychic to keep him in place. Having not spoken since before Celebi was brought in, Prof. Pickle goes up to Celebi and exclaims his amazement at seeing such a Pokémon with his own eyes. At this point, Looker arrives on the scene and Celebi lets go of Charon, who is then placed in handcuffs. Looker explains that that should be the end of Team Galactic, but there's still other teams out there and after finding out about how Team Galactic was also involved with what Team Rocket is doing, there's still more to be done before his mission can be considered complete. At this point, Celebi flies away not that it's free and the chosen character, Looker, and Prof. Pickle head back with Charon in custody, Prof. Pickle also complaining about how he hasn't had a cucumber sandwich in such a long while and the chosen character with the Psycho Plate.
Cutscene: Back at Giovanni's space station, Giovanni has once again watched the events of what has just happened on his hologram screen. He complains that he gave Charon a Celebi and that Charon still failed to keep the Psycho Plate. Giovanni summons ONNA, who materializes, and he decides to ask her how everything is going with the construction of where his dream empire will be. ONNA says that the assembly and construction is currently at 85% and that the Rocket Krakens are continuing to make sure the project goes unnoticed. Giovanni has decided that now is the time to head to the location of his dream empire and continue any operations from there. Giovanni also adds on for her to dispatch someone to get the Psycho Plate from the chosen character and to also bring Prof. Pickle to him so that he can locate the remaining Alpha Gates.
Cutscene: We go to Empire City, where things are going normal for everybody until the Dark Raven appears in the sky with Tyson at the controls. He presses a button that launches something called a Chemical Plasma Missile, a large missile filled with a teal green liquid that's fired from the bottom of the jet and shoots through the sky, shocking the people of the city. The missile shoots downward towards the base of Empire Tower, the tallest building in the city. The missile hits the base of the tower and explodes, splashing the liquid all over the tower's base, which then starts to instantly dissolve the entire bottom of the tower, causing it to fall over onto some more buildings, crushing them. Hidden beneath the tower happens to be the Alpha Gate holding the Stone Plate. While everyone is continued to be shocked, Tyson lands the Dark Raven down where the Alpha Gate is and steps out, carrying a chain of slate gray-colored crystals. He then heads inside the shrine, where a statue of Heatran sits. Using the crystal chain, Tyson makes the statue sink to reveal the chamber where the Stone Plate is kept. He goes up to where the Stone Plate it and grabs it, bringing up that it wasn't hard at all to get the Plate. He heads back out and gets into the Dark Raven and flies off, the jet turning invisible.
Cutscene: Back in Spagonia, the chosen character, Looker, and Tails are all in Prof. Pickle's lab as Prof. Pickle thanks the chosen character for saving him. Looker decides to ask a little more about the Plates that Team Rocket are after, explaining that from the events that are unfolding, they're the ones behind it. Prof. Pickle says that the Super Plates are connected to the legendary Pokémon Arceus, said to be the most powerful of them all. He goes up to his library of books containing various myths and legends to find the one that holds the legend of Arceus. As he looks through the books, he says the names of some of them, such as "The Golden Sky and Silver Ocean", "The Giants of Land and Sea", and "The Sinnoh Space-Time Legend" before he finds the book titled "The Original One" and opens it to explain the legend to the three guests.
Cutscene: We go to a sequence of still pictures like those found in a book of legends as Prof. Pickle explains the legend of Arceus. As it turns out, a real long time ago, Arceus saved the land on Michina from a meteor that threatened to wipe out all life in the land. After everything was over, Michina was a barren wasteland, so Arceus used its powers over Grass, Water, Electric, Ground, and Dragon to create the Jewel of Life, which it gave to Michina's strongest, a man named Damos. The Jewel of Life would allow Michina to flourish once again, and that one day, Damos was to give the Jewel of Life back to Arceus. On the day of an eclipse, a man named Marcus tried to steal away the Jewel of Life, thinking that if it was given back, Michina would go back to being desolate. However, due to the actions of mysterious strangers (if you're playing as Brock, Ash, or Dawn, he or she'll keep quiet when listening to this part), the Jewel of Life was returned to Arceus, and thanks to the people of Michina, the land continued to flourish. After that, Arceus went into a deep sleep in order to heal itself, but it left behind 16 crystalline plates containing its power that scattered across the planet. Shrines were built to house these sacred treasures and to further honor Arceus for all that it has inspired.
Cutscene: Back in Pickle's Lab, everyone is astounded at the legend of Arceus. The chosen character realizes exactly what Team Rocket's trying to do, awaken and control Arceus. Looker explains that he may not know too much about the legend of Arceus, but that whatever Team Rocket has planned has to be stopped as soon as possible or else they could be facing the most catastrophic event ever in the history of mankind, even worse then the universe being shattered (at the end of Pokémon Peace Squad 2). Tails brings up that they don't know where the next Plate should be and that even if they did, the Tornado is still too badly damaged. Suddenly, we hear a commotion outside and the chosen character, Tails, and Looker decide to head out and see what is happening.
Cutscene: Outside Spagonia University, we happen to see a woman in a black Team Rocket uniform sporting a large, high-tech sword in her right hand, a large, high-tech boomerang in her left hand, and a wheel of high-tech axes on her back. As the chosen character, Tails, and Looker come out, the chosen character recognizes the woman as Wendy. Alongside her are three male Team Rocket Grunts. Wendy decides to spare the good guys a bit of a talk and orders the Grunts to attack.
You'll be taken to a screen with the three Rocket Grunts where you take part in a QTE-based event battle like one done in the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed. You have to press the sequence of five buttons and controls that appears in order to lay an attack on one of the Grunts. If you're too slow or mess up, one of the Grunts attacks you for 10% of your health, regardless of stats. Once you've performed three QTE's successfully, this short event is over.
Cutscene: Seeing the Grunts defeated, Wendy demands that the chosen character hand over Prof. Pickle to her or else she'll go wild with her weapons on the town of Spagonia. Basically, we have another boss battle to do.
BOSS BATTLE: Wendy When fighting Wendy, the Vs. Character boss theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays. When Wendy is defeated, the Town Mission Clear music theme from Sonic the Hedgehog '06 plays.
As if things couldn't get any worse, we now got a battle with Wendy of Team Rocket to do! Also note that how you did in the short event battle determines your condition when you start this fight. Wendy uses melee weapon techniques, so it's best to stay as far away from her as you can while still being able to damage her. The first attack you should know how to deal with is when she uses her Vi-Sword (the large sword). Basically, if you get slashed by this attack, the damage is a bit severe. She also uses the Vi-Sword to deflect most ranged attacks back at you. The RKT-Hawk is another story as she can throw this and it has impressive range. If you get hit by this attack, you also will become disoriented. Now when it comes to the axes Wendy carries, those have a number of effects. The axe that has a green digital screen on it is called a Toxic Axe, which if struck by poisons you. The axe that has a red digital screen on it is called a Magma Axe, which if struck by burns you. The axe that has a blue digital screen on it is called a Frost Axe, which if struck by freezes you. The axe that has a yellow digital screen on it is called a Shock Axe, which if struck by will paralyze you. When half of Wendy's health is gone, she'll use a new technique where she keeps the axes in the octagonal mainframe on her back, linking their data, then throwing the entire wheel at you. If struck by this, any one of the four axe effects can befall you. Keep up your tactics and eventually, Wendy will fall once and for all.
Cutscene: After defeating Wendy, she decides to send another axe wheel at the chosen character, but suddenly, the axes short-circuit and explode, blasting her to the ground. Looker goes up to her with intentions of apprehending her and taking her in for questioning, but just as he's about to do so, the Dark Raven comes out of its invisibility cloak over the area, prompting Wendy to slide kick Looker to the ground. A rope ladder is lowered and Wendy grabs on and is pulled up into the Dark Raven, which starts to fly away as it turns invisible.
Cutscene: We go back to Giovanni, who is now in a new location, which is a room with a high-up area for him to sit at and has a giant wall-size window overlooking a massive cutting-edge chamber with a gigantic glass cylinder in the center with a large pedestal in its middle, seven small and one large pedestal that form a circle around the cylinder, then sixteen medium-size pedestals forming an outer circle. On four of the pedestals are the Hydro Plate, Lime Plate, Phantom Plate, and Stone Plate, each one glowing in a color that is the same as the Plate. There is a colossal computer screen wrapping around the wall of the octagonal chamber with many windows, charts, graphs, and screens opening, closing, and displaying data. ONNA materializes in front of Giovanni telling them that the chamber is fully operational and that it needs all the Plates for the system to work. Giovanni tells ONNA that he should thank Attila and Hun for redeeming themselves by getting back the Hydro Plate for him. He then asks her if they know where any more Plates are as so to get them before the Pokémon Peace Squad does so. ONNA tells him that the satellites have located two more Plates, the Thunder Plate in Kiyosara and the Aero Plate in Holoska. Giovanni tells ONNA to dispatch Team Plasma in getting the Thunder Plate and to tell Tyson to spearhead getting the Aero Plate.
Cutscene: We go to inside the Alpha Gate as the chosen character has an idea on where the Psycho Plate goes. Going up to the Lugia statue in front of the doors where you can enter the hub's stages, suddenly, the Lugia statue glows a bright magenta color and so does the Psycho Plate. The Lugia statue sinks into the ground and the chosen character is in the area where the Psycho Plate is supposed to be placed. The chosen character takes the Psycho Plate up to the pedestal and places the Plate onto it. Once the Psycho Plate is back, the chosen character heads back to the Lugia statue and takes it back up to the surface, sealing the path leading into the chamber.
Cutscene: Back in Spagonia, it's now daytime as we see the chosen character and Looker on the steps of Spagonia University. Looker is a bit down for failing to apprehend Wendy, but the chosen character tells him to not let that affect his job of taking down Team Rocket. At this point, Prof. Pickle's assistant comes out to tell the chosen character that Pickle has figured out the location of another Plate and that the chosen character is to depart for Kiyosara as soon as possible. While excited about this news, the chosen character brings up that Tails hasn't fixed the Tornado yet and that it could still be a while. At this point, we hear a sound similar to a jet engine as everybody looks up to see an airship flying above the city. Upon a closer inspection, it turns out to be the Highwind, with Cid at the helm. Also aboard the vessel are Cloud, Tifa, and Barret. Cloud decides to jump off and onto the steps of Spagonia University, shocking Pickle's assistant in the process, who asks just who Cloud is. Cloud introduces himself then greets the chosen character, saying that he got a call for Prof. Oak about the chosen character being in Spagonia. Tails comes up at this point after hearing the commotion and says hi to Cloud. Cloud brings up if the chosen character needs to go anywhere, and he or she replies Kiyosara. Cloud says that the Highwind will be able to take him or her wherever he or she needs to. Tails says that if it's okay with Cid, he'll load the Tornado onto the Highwind and see if he can get it fixed there as well as travel along as well. Looker says that he should go to Kiyosara as well and says to save a spot on the Highwind for him.
Once you've regained control of the chosen character, you'll still be on the steps of Spagonia University, but the only other person there is Pickle's assistant, who asks just what kind of people do you know. There's also a rope ladder hanging here that leads up to the Highwind. A number of the city's locale talk about the attack by Team Rocket as well as the Highwind. Even though you don't have to, it's a good idea to head back into the University and talk to Prof. Pickle (the music here is the same as it is in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Unleashed). He's the person that you can give souvenirs and accessories to in exchange for hints about stages and bosses. You can also check out the books he has for the legends pertaining to each of the Legendary Pokémon known other than Mewtwo and Deoxys (as the former was made by Team Rocket, the latter came from space not long ago). As you clear more Episodes, more books will become available for you to read. Here's a list of each of the books you can look at:
-The Titans of Ice, Lightning, and Fire (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres) <Start> -The Beasts of Thunder, Volcano, and Wind (Raikou, Entei, Suicune) <Start> -The Golems of Stone, Cold, and Steel (Regirock, Regice, Registeel) <Start> -The Sprites of Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower (Uxie, Mespirit, Azelf) <Start> -The Golden Sky and Silver Ocean (Lugia, Ho-oh) <Clear Episode 7> -The Giants of Land and Sea (Kyogre, Groudon) <Clear Episode 8> -The Sinnoh Space-Time Legend (Dialga, Palkia) <Clear Episode 9> -The Denizen of the Sky (Rayquaza) <Clear Episode 8> -The Shadow of the Reverse (Giratina) <Clear Episode 9> -The Traveling Eons (Latias, Latios) <Clear Episode 7> -The Full Moon and the New Moon (Cresselia, Darkrai) <Clear Episode 10> -The Power of the Volcano (Heatran) <Clear Episode 11> -The Mover of Continents (Regigigas) <Clear Episode 11> -The Mirage, Time-Traveler, and Wish-Maker (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi) <Clear Final> -The Prince of the Sea (Manaphy, also covers Phione) <Clear Final> -The Dispersing Flower (Shaymin) <Clear Final> -The Original One (Arceus) <Clear Final Episode> -The Entity of Chaos (Chaos) <Meet Special Condition> -The Flame of Time (Solaris) <Meet Special Condition> -The Dark Gaia Manuscripts (Dark Gaia) <Meet Special Condition>
Also starting now, you can call Prof. Pickle from a Pokémon Center videophone if you need to talk to him for any reason. He'll usually point you to the location that you need to go to. Before you go to the Highwind, you should go to stock up on whatever items you need for the road ahead. When you're ready, climb the ladder that leads up to the Highwind to board and enter it. (When inside the Highwind, a remix of the Highwind theme from Final Fantasy VII plays.) You can look around the ship to find Cloud, Barret, and Tifa and talk to them if you wish. At this time, Looker is also here if you want to talk to him and if you go to the roof, you'll find Tails trying to fix up the Tornado. In the room you stayed in in Pokémon Peace Squad 2, you can get use the bed to take a nap and change the time of day. There's also a videophone you can use to call up anyone you wish to call (note that Cid is one such person you can call starting after you see him). When you're ready, go to the front of the ship where Cid is, talk to him, and select "I'm all ready!" to go to the World Map.
Starting now, instead of using the Tornado to travel between locations, you'll be flying aboard the Highwind instead. At the World Map, you'll be pointed in the direction of a new location, Kiyosara. Since you're pointed there already, you can simply select Kiyosara to head there.
